  1. I hate any game that isn't on WGN. I hate any game against the Reds - especially when they're not on WGN. Even though I'm supposedly in the local viewing area of Cincy.
  2. Needs a battery of drug tests ASAP. There is no way anyone should be winning races by jogging while everyone else is busting a blood vessel running as hard as they can I do find it interesting that, as they were saying on the broadcast, Bolt and Spearman were very even runners for years and then - all of a sudden - Bolt gets a whole lot faster than Spearman. Not accusing him, but something seems odd with that.
  3. It's not entirely our fault. Who'd have thought Dorrell would destroy UCLA's football team back 5 years or so ago when we scheduled them. UAB has fallen off a cliff since we scheduled them, but they were only decent back then anyway. Wyoming is a normal homecoming pushover and NIU is down from where they normally are. So yeah, outside the SEC is easier than normal, but the conference schedule is going to be brutal. Well if the other SEC teams are playing the same type of OOC schedule you are it should match up some 3-0/4-0 and make it look even better! Seriously, your conference has stepped it up a bit with the exception of LSU, theirs is terrible. Arkansas' is pretty terrible, What? One good game (Texas), three terrible games (W. Illinois, Tulsa and UL-Monroe) I actually stand corrected. Somehow, on first look, I completely missed that Arkansas played Texas - not sure how I forgot about that. Strike the Razorbacks from my crap list. :D
  4. <---------------- Okay, exempting fans who saw his incompetence first hand. :D

Seriously, your conference has stepped it up a bit with the exception of LSU, theirs is terrible. Arkansas' is pretty terrible, Kentucky's is bad because Louisville has fallen off the map (that's the same problem as UT though), and yes, LSU's is horrible. Otherwise, everybody's playing at least one quality team.

  7. :yahoo: Awesome, awesome news! I love Warren's ability and he'll definitely help our offense out. I'm drooling just thinking about him and Aaron Douglas on the field at the same time soon. That might be a long wait. Douglas still has not practiced with full contact, and if Cottam is able to get healthy, Aaron would at best be a 4th stringer. I'd imagine a redshirt this year, so maybe next year or Warren's Sr year, but I doubt it happens this year at all. Still, great news for UT. Yeah, soon was a bad word. I figured Douglas would redshirt this year (especially with Warren in the fold) and was thinking forward to next year. A Warren/Cottam duo would be really nice, though. Agreed. THough, with Cottam out due to injury (can the Cottam's catch a stinking break?!?) it sounds like Luke Stocker is turning heads. It will be nice to have 3 legitimate threats at TE. Sounds like the Clawfense might look at some H-Back stuff, like we did with Chris Brown. Now that Warren is in the fold, I'm thinking 34-10 UT. (Okay, I don't really expect to win by 24, but I can certainly hope, can't I?) I knew Stocker was turning heads, but I didn't know Cottam was still injured - I thought he'd be recovered by now. What is with the Cottams and their injuries? And I could see a 24 point win. It's on the upper end of what I think could happen, but if Morley, Berry, Willingham and Vinson (assuming he gets out of the doghouse) are in top form, it could be that bad.

  9. I'm standing by my terrible photos theory. They look good on the court. That was semi-witty though.
  10. Man, those are terrible photos of them. They look a lot better on the court - or at least a lot different...

  12. logan tom is def not hot...buttaface maybe, but that's the extent of it. She's certainly not your "classic beauty," that's for sure. she's pretty damn ugly to be frank. She's definitely behind Bown and Joines for me, but I wouldn't classify her as ugly. bown is too thick for me. I like thick. Not fat, but Bown is a terrific build.

  15. yeah actually they have been showing a lot of the things i like watching most (water polo, indoor volleyball) during the daytime hours. i was working 4A-11A today so i was able to watch most of the match live. i suspect that they'll get some prime time coverage now that they're into the medal rounds. I hope so, they have a bad habit of showing the indoor volleyball when I'm at work or asleep.
  16. You would be correct. She basically did a face plant after the vault - and yet still beat Sacramone. Good to hear about the women's volleyball win, I was hoping they'd televise it around primetime tonight but apparently not. And yes, Logan Tom is hot and of legal age. As are Heather Bown and Jennifer Joines.
  17. What Kosuke must think of what the American players do for fun on the offdays... Wrestling is pretty big in Japan too. This is very true.
  18. i am going to predict that michigan state does what they always do, start out good, lose a game to a good team that they should've won, then go in the toilet. I think that phase is over for them since they got rid of John L. Smith. So you're saying...the coaches were screwing it up? Awesome, awesome tirade right there my friend. :D
  19. Ours are hotter though. That's gotta count for something. Counts for plenty in my book. Especially in a couple years when I'm allowed to think Shawn Johnson is hot. I feel weird saying it, but she's definitely going to be hot.
  20. Ours are hotter though. That's gotta count for something.
  21. She did get one on the all-around (despite getting messed over a couple of times in judging there too). At least she has one. True, she earned this one too though. They've been sucking up to the Chinese the entire time, why not on this too? :banghead:
  22. It should really be a black eye on the IOC that they don't question the Chinese about her at all. 99% of humanity knows that girl isn't older than 13-14 - if that.
  23. I feel bad for Nastia. She deserves the freaking gold.
  24. "Remember the Alamo" will be revived as "Remember Nastia!"
  25. Elfie's still really, really pissed. And I still think there ought to be a protest that Nastia was competing against newborn babies out there.
