  1. Chiefs are now up for Mr. Irrelevant.
  2. Tiquan Underwood is now off the board to Jacksonville. Good pick.
  3. Bears take WR Derek Kinder. His whereabouts are unknown to NFL.com. EDIT: He apparently played at Pitt at some point. That's all I can find on him, though.
  4. Cadogan is still available.
  5. Great pick by Jacksonville - Rashad Jennings should be a really nice tailback.
  6. NFL.com has him listed as a guard. Interesting. Sounds like another athlete. Or a mix-up. Athlete.
  7. NFL.com has him listed as a guard.
  8. I really like Ricky Jean-Francois this late. Absolutely. Courtney Greene also just went. He has a lot of potential if he can live up to it.
  9. Marko Mitchell was just taken by the Redskins. Really nice pick this late. And now the 49ers get a good late value in Ricky Jean-Francois.
  10. Interesting note, I thought, about this draft: North Carolina has had 3 wide receivers taken and Georgia Tech has had 2 defensive tackles taken.
  11. Still some interesting players left on the line who could be signed as undrafted FAs. Ramon Foster Gerald Cadogan Cornelius Lewis Trevor Canfield Edwin Williams Jason Watkins Joel Bell Alex Boone
  12. And now Mickens to Dallas. I'm losing the good values I want for the Titans. Oh well.
  13. Steelers grab Shipley. Nice pick.
  14. I'm very happy with the Titans' draft so far. Disappointed we passed on Marcus Freeman and DJ Moore, but Britt, Marks, Javon Ringer and Gerald McRath are all very good picks, I think. Ringer will immediately compete with Quinton Ganther as the 3rd RB and McRath has the potential to eventually replace Bulluck, perhaps. Britt and Marks could both contribute next year. I don't know a lot about Ryan Mouton, but what I know about him I like. I'll trust the eye of Jeff Fisher and Chuck Cecil, though. I know nothing about Dominique Edison yet. I'm not crazy about the Jared Cook pick. The need isn't great for a TE since we retained Bo Scaife, but he is just franchised and Alge is getting up there in age. I would have preferred Cornelius Ingram. Not a fan of Troy Kropog either, but the didn't reach for him and Mike Munchak is amazing at developing linemen, so I'm confident he'll work well with Kropog. I'd love to see some combination of Courtney Greene/AQ Shipley/Rashad Jennings/Mike Mickens (don't think any of them have left the board, but I'm not sure) in the final two picks. We'll see though - I'm feeling good about this draft.
  15. He could play as a somewhat small DT. He's got the quickness and agility.
  16. TE Cornelius Ingram is still floating around out there in round 3. I'll be interested to see where he ends up - if the Titans get him I'll be thrilled. Michael Johnson is another player with 1st round talent who has dropped for other reasons.
  17. PCP, another reason to like Kenny Britt:
  18. I think the Titans need to definitely look at corners early tomorrow (DJ Moore, Mike Mickens and Keenan Lewis are probably the best players there). If not a corner in round 3, I'd probably like to see a linebacker (Marcus Freeman or Dannell Ellerbee would be nice) or a center (Luigs, Shipley, Caldwell would all be fantastic additions). Other than that I think they'll look to beef up the offensive line (especially a tackle to replace Daniel Loper), look for running back depth and maybe get a little more depth at safety (Courtney Greene if he falls?) the rest of the draft. I'm happy so far and Reinfeldt has shown he's strong on the second day (Cortland Finnegan, William Hayes, Leroy Harris, Keith Vickerson, etc).
  19. Yeah, very good day one for the Titans. Britt wasn't my first choice for the Titans and I would have preferred Butler or Maualuga, but I like the pick and he has a chance to contribute (even if minimally) this year. Marks isn't a mammoth DT or anything, but he'll replace Haynesworth's athleticism (as much as anybody can) and will further strengthen the DT rotation. I was shocked when I saw them take him, because I didn't even really consider him as a player they'd look at. But I was very happy about it. There's still a small chance that Freeman or DJ Moore are there for the Titans in round 3, which would be fantastic.
  20. I could do nothing but laugh when they showed Beanie Wells on the phone during the Titans' pick. I like the Britt pick, though. Technically I would have preferred Rey Maualuga (top choice) or Darius Butler/Alphonso Smith, but I'm quite happy with Britt. Now for Marcus Freeman or DJ Moore in the second round and this will be a great day.
  21. Look at it this way: if he reaches his potential, he'll be worth the pick.
  22. He seems to know his Raiders and Boston/New York baseball. And of the Fox Sports late night guys he's probably the one I enjoy the most. He and Tom Looney aren't bad together.
  23. From what JT and Rob Rang inferred, it sounds like they're just taking DHB at 7. And it would be a huge stretch. DHB is raw, but incredibly talented. Taking him in the middle of the first would be a bit of a reach, though.
  24. PCP and the Vikings are on the clock. I PMd him.
  25. soccer, I was listening to the JT the Brick show on Fox Sports Radio on the way home tonight and he says he works for the Raiders. He said through his connections he has learned that Oakland is likely to go with Heyward-Bey with the #7 pick. He then interviewed Rob Rang (sp?) who said it's a "done deal" of DHB to the Raiders. Not sure of the legitimacy of it all, but that's the rumor I've heard.
