It's becoming more important all the time, especially with more and more athletic TEs showing up. sure, but a solid front 7 can make up for it, and the bears front 7 right now is better than it was last year. the bears not drafting a safety isnt a [expletive] disaster, no matter what some weird inbred fans believe. and again, it's still an offensive league. Oh, it's no disaster that the Bears went Fuller (who can play safety very well) over Haha. I'm not arguing that - Fuller's the better player. I just think with the way the league is going passing-wise and with TEs getting bigger, faster and more athletic every year, safety is gaining in importance.
