    Midnight EST, I'm guessing. The window doesn't exactly close tonight. It just gets harder, more expensive, and if he's re-signed after tonight it counts against the FA quota. BWKB was speaking of the exclusive window, which does close tonight.

    Agent Paul Kinzer told ESPN.com that he wants a six-year deal for Aramis Ramirez should the third baseman leave the Cubs as a free agent. The Cubs' exclusive negotiating window closes on Saturday. "If we go out, we're going to look for six years," Kinzer said. "I'm pretty confident it would go there. Aramis is only 28 years old, and that puts him in his prime." Ramirez likely will be seeking at least $15 million-$16 million per year, though he might take less in return for the six-year commitment. Source: ESPN.com
