  1. Now you run the ball, if it gets to 3rd down or 2nd and long, use play action.
  2. Time to let the front 4 do the work.
  3. I'm glad the defense is back. Atlanta would be wise to challenge it.
  4. Is it just me or was he limping a bit on the sideline? To me, it looks like he's been limping all the time, since he's been on the field.
  5. I'm glad ATL will have to throw the ball, Vick will be running for his life. (Side note: Dunn is probably the most classy player in the NFL)
  6. I've never been so scared watching a QB pick himself up off the ground.
  7. Running backwards and throwing don't mix. He's flustered, but lasted longer than I expected, of course, there's about 6 minutes left.
  8. For next week, I'd leave who starts next week up in the air as long as possible. GB has a short week b/c of tomorrow's game and let them think for a awhile.
  9. Well, this is what I've waited for. I'll take one bad throw for what he did to get them there.
  10. Grossman looks like he enjoys the cold as much as I do (not much). Let's open this damn thing up! (once they get done handing it off) :)
  11. Berman was too busy yelling with catchy nicknames during highlights. They also talked about the weather, it is cold.
  12. That's the one that should've been caught, Berrian had given himself a large enough window to where a decent pass should've been caught.
  13. Well, this is what this team is set-up for. Two deep passes, one that should've been complete and another that drew a 20 yd. pass interference. Playaction please, keep them honest with the run. I have mixed emotions of Turner.
  14. With what resources? Right now at OF, there is little supply, greater demand, and a higher price since the supply can't meet the demand. 2B- There's no supply, somewhat of a demand unless you're comfortable with Luna, and once again no money. Last year, when he got Grudzielanek, Eckstein, and Molina, they was decent quailty avail. as well as the money to get them or in the case of Molina slide him in there.
  15. I'd much rather see the ball softened and the parks bigger, the RF line at Yankee stadium and older parks with smaller dimensions should obviously be grandfathered in. But, the dimensions at Minute Maid (Crawford Boxes) as well as the GABP are too small and should've been larger. I'd much rather watch a game built more around pitching and player execution on offense that extends beyond hitting the ball 450 feet. Manufacturing runs is a concept that doesn't work well in today's climate, but it is better to watch, IMO.
  16. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/story/375575p-319169c.html Good news: Those backloaded contracts are starting to rear its ugly head. Bad News: They've priced themselves out of Jones' range.
  17. http://www.nypost.com/sports/59817.htm Agreed Agreed Agreed Agreed
  18. I was hoping a Bears win with a Vikings loss would clinch, but Minnesota has done well in the bad division and there's a shot if the Bears lose to GB and Minn. Still will have to be decided in GB. I don't see Vick making it past the 3rd quarter.
  19. What if TB doesn't want Guzman? I think if TB wanted Guzman, that deal would've been done.
  20. His OPS is right at .800 against Rh'ers. His adjusted OPS is at .780.
  21. Agreed, he might be a marginal improvement over the J. Jones/P. Wilson's of the FA market, but not someone to pursue beyond a last resort scenario.
  22. If they're talking with Balt., they should end talks about Tejada and go for the player who's one year away from FA and stick him in the OF. That's Mora. As far as Tracy and Wilson, it's not his style, but unless they find someone on the non-tendered list better, I can't see them not using him as their starting RF'er.
  23. Just let Wilson play right. No need for a platoon if he's going to outproduce the partner. Or sign the habitual stop-gap (Sanders). At this stage, both Gibbons and Wilson are scheduled to start in RF for both clubs.
  24. It's looking more likely that he won't play, Hillenmeyer might be replaced by L. Joe at OLB.
  25. http://www.startribune.com/stories/507/5788742-2.html Hopefully, STL or some other team offers 3.
