  1. I prefer Brian Orakpo amongst defensive ends. I also agree, pull Orton. This game is out of reach and he's going to re-aggravate his injury with this offensive line. If Orapko is there I agree, but more than likely the Bears will draft 12-16 and at this point, I don't see Orapko falling. I've seen Johnson go before 12-16 too (though given his play this season, he doesn't deserve to). But I think the Bears will go DE in the first round...I don't mind but I would love to see them go OL. If it were up to me, I'd cut T. Harris and draft a fat DT along side Dusty and Harrison, but the Bears won't do so. I'd probably go OLB with probably Aaron Curry, Maualuga for ILB shifting Urlacher to OLB, etc. but I agree that the Bears will do DE and cut Wale. I have no problem with going DE and cutting Wale, I'd rather not pour even more money into the linebackers. I'd give Harris one more year. I don't see Harris getting healthy to the point where he was two years ago before the injuries and with that contract, they have to be proactive as far as unloading Harris and Wale, depending on the cap hit.

  3. lmao-joe buck is a LEGEND!!! Legend, for whom?

  5. Is Smith too stupid to pull Orton? He's hurt, hasn't been effective, and this game is over, pull him before he injures his ankle even worse.
  6. I've decided to start looking towards '09 NFL draft. Michael Johnson come on down!
  7. No, but I'm not blind enough to see that GB is still mopping them up on both sides of the ball and that is why they're losing compared to some perpectual screw job by the refs why all my teams lose rather than getting outplayed b/c they lack talent. yeah, the penalties have come at key times and have allowed them to keep drives going while ruining ours. Ugh. The Bears are playing like absolutely crap in all three phases of the game. Have the refs helped? Probably not. But they haven't been a factor. i won't deny the bears are playing like crap. i'm frustrated, okay? my football teams are on their way to losing 4 in a row. At least use some sense of rational thinking, you seem to be lacking this right now.
  8. I'm done with all 3 as well.

  10. That I agree with. I agree with not calling it, but if you call that against Tillman, you have to call it on that play. The League has its head so far up its ass as far as making it a scoring league it is amazing.
  11. I guess it was a horse collar if you can do so by grabbing the face mask.
  12. If you would've told me that the return game and the pass defense would be the two worst aspects of this team, I would've laughed at you.
  13. They can run the ball on them and pass it against them any time they want.
  14. Both sides suck right now.
  15. The special teams has been awful. I hate Joe Buck.
  16. It's hard to beat a team that can run over another team. I can understand emphasizing refs when it's a close and evenly played game, but to do so when GB is wiping the floor with the Bears to almost ignore how bad the Bears have been is another. The refs have been awful, but the Bears have been worse. True. The Bears have been terrible vs the run so far, but they are playing two deep safeties so this is to be expected somewhat. If that holding call on Driver is properly made, odds are GB settles for a FG and this is a much closer game. 14-3 and 10-3 is still in the game, but either way, you have to count on the Bears doing a 180 as far as how they in the 2nd. I haven't seen aything from a talent standpoint that would indicate this happening. Luckily FB is different than baseball as far emotions playing a larger role and hopefully they got reamed at half.

  18. They'd still be getting it handed to them, even if the refs were employed by the Bears.
  19. How the Bears have a better record than GB I will never know, the difference in talent is overwhelming.
  20. Damn is Turner brutal in the 2 minute drill.
  21. Grant will have 200 yards this game at this pace. The Bears will have a tough decision with Harris, personally, I'd cut him.
  22. This is frustrating, can't stop the run or the pass, other than that, they're doing ok.
  23. This defense is miserable. Playing 5 yards off inside the 5yd line? wtf? If you're going to play man coverage and expose the secondary, expose it while blitzing, not 8 in the box.
