  1. Delhomme cont's to underthrow WRs even on the pass interference, it was underthrown.
  2. I'm hoping Carolina can re-establish the running game since they can't throw it.
  3. That secondary has looked lost for much of the game for Carolina.
  4. That was a clinic by the GB WRs, Carolina played too far off.
  5. Biggest game since the Super Bowl. I do worry about Forte possibly starting to wear down as we get into the final 4 games. Even though he had a great game last week, I'd like to see them use Peterson more in less crucial situations.
  6. Carolina better cont. to use Williams as their catalyst on offense, GB has no answer for their running game. Use the run to setup some playaction to keep them honest. I think he let up right around the 20 yd. line, he was in a different gear when he 1st broke thru. He compounded that by not protecting the ball.
  7. That's a great thing to be able to do something like that.
  8. UK is just making horrible mistakes as far as careless passing. Last night, they turned it over 20+ times, shot under 40% only making 15 field goals, and still won by double digits. Good to see the big guys contributing with Harrellson getting some valuable minutes off the bench.
  9. If UK played well, I would hate to see them play poorly. UK was awful against a bad team. UT ran the ball for 210 yards and was 88th in the country in rushing yards per game going into this game. Cobb needs to go back to WR b/c he can't throw the ball and UK needs to operate in a pro style offense, and I'm hoping that either Morgan Newton or Mossakowski is starting as a true freshman next year.
  10. Six wns in the SEC is like 9 wins in every other conference though. My sarcasm meter is broken.
  11. Fulmer goes out with a win, UK doesn't deserve to go to a bowl.
  12. UT had it 1st down on the 1 yd. line and it's 4th down with one yd. to go. UT got it on 4th down, quite the battle of two crap teams. 7-3 after 1 half.
  13. This UK/UT game is extremely painful on the eyes, the futility of both of these offenses is amazing.
  14. Hub Arkish is much much better than when he was employed by the Bears and still doing Sports talk radio. I enjoy him being objective, something he wasn't before. With Jauron, not everyone who disliked him blamed 100% of the Bears' woes on him and Arkish failed to differentiate the two.
  15. That's definitely a new one. I think trait would be a better word, he does have those qualities as far as his inside out swing and good bat control that allows him to send much of his contact to short RF as far as a prototypical #2 hitter. I'm still skeptical as far as him maintaining that for an entire season, he does get fatigued and loses some of the bat speed when he gets busted in. That's the easiest way to tell with Theriot is going well; when he gets busted in, he can muscle it over 2B. When he's going bad, he'll ground out to 2B.

  17. I want Mark Hendrickson as the cheap and good situational lefty/swing guy.
  18. I tend to agree. Kiffin could be a great hire, or he could be awful. You can say that about pretty much any of them except Leach, IMO. Leach and Butch Davis. Has Davis been mentioned? If he has, then I would put him in there with Leach as well.
  19. I tend to agree. Kiffin could be a great hire, or he could be awful. You can say that about pretty much any of them except Leach, IMO.
  20. Someone like him or Patterson from TCU would likely be a progression candidate that would do well. I'm usually up in the air as far as these types of candidates as they can get by with medicore recruiting classes, create a very good offensive or defensive scheme and do well in mid level conferences. To be where UT wants to go and should go given their tradition, requires both.
  21. Beyond Leach, I don't know who else was an option. I would've looked at Dan McCarney down at UF, but I didn't really follow who UT was courting beyond Gruden, Smith, and Leach.
  22. That'd be a great choice, IMO. I wanted UK to go after him when he was the QB coach at USC and it looked like Brooks was on the outs.
  23. It should be Bears vs. Lions every Thanksgiving.
  24. China will take off before India as far as untapped baseball markets. This is an odd gimmick, there are college kids that throw harder, have a breaking ball, and an off-speed pitch that didn't get drafted. The prize should've been a full-ride baseball scholarship to an American University compared to the prize money they rec'd as well as the contract with Pitt, I'm assuming they weren't at a University in India. You can't think them as Dominican kids, since the amount of time Dominican kids are out on the diamond dwarfs even American players let alone someone who just picked up a baseball.
