    Someone else already mentioned this stat. His career splits are closer, though. Maybe Mulder needs to adjust to playing more day games? I think you play more night games as a West Coast team, especially with the unbalanced schedule.

    Neither. When you have nothing to lose, there's often a tendency to play your best, or at least go (you-know-what) out.

    Yes, $9 mil is an awful lot for when the vesting option kicks in, but like I've said, he can still bring the big game when needed. I just wish I didn't have to root AGAINST him for 13 years. Thanks a lot, Larry Himes. :evil:

    I understand where you're coming from, but you sound like all too many Sox fans do against the Cubs. Just want something positive about the season, and at least the Cards are our real rivals. True enough. :-) But why would I root for the Cardinals in a Cards vs. White Sox series?
