  1. Oh Badger, I acknowledge you, oh great baseball god. Every post you make is bursting with baseball "intellect." I salute you, and bow down to you, because my posting is vastly inferior, and filled with less "baseball intellect, then yours." Hey it's not my fault you advocate moving Walker down in the lineup because he GIDP for the 5th time all year. IT's a ridiculous move. Who would you have up there on this lineup? This is unsolicited because you didn't direct it to me, but perhaps Nomar would be a better choice? Then again, it helps if he's actually IN the lineup. :x
  2. GMTA (Great Minds Think Alike)! :-)
  3. And CPatt snags out #3. His bat gives me fits, but I for one am relieved to see his glove and wheels back at center.
  4. Yeah, that strike zone is getting elusive all of a sudden. Nunez gave him a gift with the popup, but didn't he go 3 balls with Pujols and Edmonds?
  5. Well, if Pujols is going to get you, best that the bases are empty at the time. Come on, Z!!!
  6. Z dangerously close to walking Nunez - ah good, he flied out. LUCK?? You mean help - from our anemic lineup.
  7. Dont remind me. I nearly puked. How is mike doing? I haven't read anything lately re: hospital stay, but he has multiple fractures in his cheekbones and suffered a concussion. Gotta be season ending, unless an NBA-style mask would work. I hope the surgery goes well - whenever it happens. Cammie had a great smile - more lit up than Willie Mays.
  8. You kid, right? Not at all, he would've avoided the tag. Or run into Pujols = Mack Truck. One terrible collision in MLB a week is more than enough.
  9. Imagine what we could do with a GOOD lineup and a good SP in the same game. Two singles in a row as I type. Keep it up!
  10. He is getting better and better in the field, it seems. I sure would like to see him do a good amount of lower body work in the offseason, though - maybe some Pilates. Each season that groin comes up a bit gimpy.
  11. I want Zambrano to hit the home ruuun this inning.
  12. Ah, the meeting is over and I can listen to Pat and Ron. Much better. :D
  13. Bo Hart comes to mind as well as Nunez. Wasnt Nunez a Pirates bench warmer? I wouldn't consider Bo Hart gold. I hope he does well, though, since he's a fellow Gonzaga grad.
  14. Another double for the Bare, I see. :)
  15. Yes, definitely. But for some reason I remember Gracie as a more reliable hitter, and definitely a better glove.
  16. I'd rather he not... K swinging, that is. I know, you meant HR. :D
  17. Wonder of wonders, mlb.tv is actually working... usually it stalls on me all the time. Yes, but we have Cardinals coverage, unless I'm doing something wrong. Edit - pronoun I guess - I have the sound off.

  19. God, I wish this phone conference would end so that I can actually know what's happening in the game as it happens. Gameday is slower than molasses in January.
  20. Is anyone getting sporadic php errors on this board?
  21. Luckily, Barrett's double took out the DP possibility. I HOPE, anyway...
  22. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, are they STILL on the Munsters? YUP. STILL Pat needs to call Stoney to get lessons on pointing a part-senile, but lovable, color commentator on track... well, REASONABLY on track.
