    So I have a baseball signed by rizzo that I rub every gameday for good luck. I hadn't been home for the past three weeks, but I got to perform the ritual this morning. If this turns it around and they go back to being super-cubs then I'm terribly sorry about neglecting the past three weeks. Go Cobs. Win game.

    Carl edwards endeared himself to me tonight because while he pitched pretty well, he didn't manage to keep the run from getting in. He was obviously upset with himself for it. It was nice to see that he cared that much. That he wanted to do better for the team and expected more from himself. Just a little thing to stave off a whole lot of meatball despair I guess.

    I just want them to play good baseball again. It's not that we're losing, it's that our pitchers are struggling to locate, our defense is shoddy, and our batters aren't being as patient.

    I'm sorry I missed my starts you guys. A whole lot of crazy stuff has happened around this fourth of july weekend for me. Also, I hope fred is alright, go cubs, and Willson Contreras is really quite good at baseball and I'm glad to have him on the team. He hit cleanup today and I was totally ok with that. How often can you say that about a young player within a month of their debut?

    I really am not a huge lebron fan, but I like him. That having been said, I hope he beats the entire super-team that golden state has created. I wish durant hadn't gone there, and I wanna see lebron just rain on that parade come finals time.

    Unfortunately our best bet for hitting it into the lake isn't smashing baseballs this year. Guys I miss Schwarber so much.

    I remember many porta potties in my youth soccer days. I had to take a horsefeathers in a porta-john on a super hot day, and it was like a miniature sweat lodge. I always called the feeling after doing that and going back outside where it felt like 15 degrees cooler outside afterwards the portapotty effect haha.

    Man almora has been at least decent since he got called up. Coghlan is bad this year, and at least he only cost us the corpse of arismendy alcantara.
