Dang, San Francisco just lost in the bottom of the 10th on a game ending balk. Casillas came in for the 10th with a 1 run lead, gave up 3 singles and a run and then balked with a runner on third for the loss. -
It's almost unbelievable that someone this rational and intelligent is the exception when it comes to management positions in sports. Theo forever.

Oh there are totally Paterno truthers. Having spent the last 11 years living in eastern PA, there was almost more of an uproar amongst PSU fans when Paterno got his wins taken away than there was when the whole Sandusky mess was first coming to light. And then when he got his wins back postmortem like 3 years later there were PSU fans dancing in the streets and pounding their chests about how wrong it was to include the great JoePa in the punitive measures. Just really flabbergasted me that these people couldn't even fathom that Paterno could've known. And to a greater extent, they couldn't understand how the PSU football program could possibly be held in any way accountable for what Sandusky did.

Fair enough, but I'd deal literally everyone else on the list before javy. I may be jaded because I think he's fun as hell to watch play, and he does have a ton of potential.

I would be shocked and disappointed if we dealt Baez. His upside is huge, and he has been a solid, regular contributor this season. The rest of that list I could see.

I'm really just ready to throw in the towel on this half and take it into the break. So in my head I see the team and front office having the same opinion, for example Dex taking it easy. Take the next week to rest and repair anything that needs attention. Come back out for the second half as the world beaters this team has the ability to be.
