    As a Bulls fan, I'll be the first to say that the officials didn't affect the outcome of the Bulls-Heat series. But the officials are trying really hard in this series so far. It's been a total joke.

    If LeBron can ever learn to make shots like that consistently, the NBA is in trouble. I'm not too worried yet.

    Van Gundy wondering why players always argue blatant fouls. Because they play for the Heat, and it works.

    The big 3 are all about drawing fake fouls. Even LeBron. It's becoming a joke.

    Mavericks doing what the Bulls couldn't. Getting some good looks on offense by hitting some outside shots.

    Same old officials. Mavs got killed a few times under the rim already. No call. LeBron just took like 5 steps. No call.

    I'm be really interested to see the Heat defense against the Mavs offense. We'll see how good the Heat defense really is, or shall I say, how bad the Bulls offense really was. I know for sure that the Heat offense should look better in the finals, but how much? I can honestly say I have no idea which way this goes. Although I'm rooting real hard for the Mavs.

    The Heat played some great D, but if DRose plays like he is capable of, then they could be up 3-2 now. He was absolutely awful. The great ones learn from performances like this. Let's hope he does.

    I don't think its a given that Miami wins this year or next. Wade has a lot of miles in him already. Who knows what the CBA does. If they keep getting MLE's, its going to keep getting more difficult and costing tons of money because the big 3 salaries keep going up. And are FA's really going to be jumping all over themselves to play there after this year? Enough to leave millions on the table? So they get no credit when they win and all the blame when they lost? I think they improve marginally at best, and may even get worse. The Bulls got beat by the better team, but at least 2 of the games could've gone the other way. I'll hold out hope that there is no Heat dynasty. It would make me sick.

    In response to the press conference question: did you get fouled on the last shot? DRose: No, I didn't get fouled. If I did, they would've called it. And Thibs just mentioned "tough calls went against us".

    Gonna be a tough hurdle to get over though. The Heat are scary and should get better when they can add mid level guys. The Heat are certainly scary going forward. Are they as scary as an improved, more poised Rose with a better supporting cast? I don't know. Unlike you guys I'm not as sold on Rose improving a lot going forward. I just don't see a lot of room to get better. Well, how about playing like he did in the regular season in the playoffs? That'll be a nice start.

    What a crappy end to a great season. What can I say. We got beat by the better team. Let's hope GarPax does something big this offseason. And maybe Thibs should hire an offensive specialist to be on this coaching staff. Go Dirk. I think the Mavs will be a good matchup for the Heat. They have a few options on offense, a guy who can get a shot whenever he wants, and play adequate defense.
