Maybe Jacque Jones could be taken out since he's 1 for 10 against Sheets. Izzy is also 2 for 21 against Sheets... which could mean a start for Cedeno. Especially due to the day game after night game. Wonder what other subs Lou will make because of that. Blanco? Is he ready? Why would he not be. He's been saving all his hitting talent in ST for the regular season. Hmm. Indeed. You were by far the biggest Hill supporter when everyone was hating on him last year. Do you ever get tired of patting yourself on the back for being right? :wink: i believe that i started a thread before the beginning of the 06 season titled: "it's time to start hill." i was flamed by some, and glendon was in the rotation instead. That's what Ozzy gets for playing small ball early in the game. Should be drilling Ozzie, though, not Erstad. Though the grit would shine through as Erstad rubs dirt on himself and then melts the pitcher as he breathes fire and acid when annoyed.

I'm pretty sure that no one will buy the Cubs if they cannot also buy Wrigley. Also, I imagine MLB will want Wrigley to be sold along with the Cubs.

Cantu would be another crappy middle infielder in a long line of undistinguished crappy middle infielders. I think we should stay far away. -

That might be true. But on the other hand Walker can make the case that all the other rosters were set, and once that happens its hard to just pick up with a team. Why is it so hard to understand that once rosters are set at the end of ST, teams are reluctant to make changes?
