  1. That pissed me off, too. Ogunleye needs to stay with White.
  2. It's not Forte. It's the line. Atlanta knows the left side of the line is terrible at run-blocking, so they are overloading the right and forcing us left.
  3. You can tell Knox and Bennett are both basically rookies by the fact that they brace for impact rather than make a move or a curl run for more yards.
  4. Nice pick. Bad fumble. Nice recovery. Terrible blocking.
  5. Nope. A couple of hurrays and one tipped ball.
  6. Seriously annoying. The Falcons coaching staff picked up on the Bears weaknesses after a quarter. Roach can't adjust so when we show blitz, they simply throw short to the open space. How can you *not* cover Gonzalez? Piss-poor.
  7. I didn't realize turnovers were only a product of bad offense and had nothing to do with defense. Regardless, they weren't going to lose that Rams game in any way. The turnovers dictated what the Vikings did offensively. They were in cruise control. But yes they were lucky on the missed FG today and fortunate to win the 49ers game. I like how you leave out that the Bears won at least 1, possibly 2 games because of missed FG's by opposing kickers that were just as easy or easier than what the Ravens had today. I love how defensive you get about any criticism of the Vikings. This isn't a comparison thread, it's a comment about how lucky the Vikings have been -- directly after the Vikings game. Don't deflect. Besides, no one is talking about the Bears... and no one mentioned the Bears.
  8. So far, the Vikings have been the luckiest team in the league. They are two plays from having two losses and the Rams have them the win last week with infinity +1 turnovers in the Red Zone.
  9. Ugh. The Ravens got all conservative and missed the FG. Should have gotten closer (which they could easily have done).
  10. That was on Mason. He flat out missed it. Right through his hands.
  11. Bears release TE Michael Gaines.
  12. I'm in favor of help on the defensive line, but I'm not sure about this move.
  13. According to various reports, it was a 2nd round pick for Adams.
  14. He's playing without it. He was quoted saying something about being Samoan with very large legs that allow his muscles to do the work. I think Chris Chelios has played without some knee ligaments for years. Chelios is actually a zombie Defenseman. He's been playing without being alive for at least a decade.
  15. The chance was actually at the end of the 9th minute... (8:01-9:00 was the 9th minute). People pretty much cheered though both the 9th and 10th in some confusion. :D
  16. 5 minutes of stoppage. Ended up being more since CR was stalling and subbing. We were very unlucky not to beat them 4-2 (or more). We had a ton of early chances and simply didn't finish.
