England-Mexico-France-Ivory Coast would do well to hose France and Mexico. Works for me. Ivory Coast and Algeria both don't like France, but Algeria *really* doesn't like France. I wish we could hose Italy, France, and Mexico all at the same time. Works for me, too. Italy-Mexico-Ivory Coast-France would be a seriously nasty group, dontcha think?

Phew, I was getting sucked in again with the Minor League hype. And then I read this thread. That's better. I'm thinking of not re-upping EI this season and saving the bucks. -

I agree, it is. I think it's easy to lose perspective after the 4-0 start to the road trip, but you could really see the difference the long road trip had when they played Anaheim and LA. And trapping teams sometimes give the Hawks trouble.

With the cap as it is, along with the coming extensions for Keith, Kane and Toews, I really don't see how they could make such a deal. They'd have to move Huet in the deal, and his cap hit is $5.625M for the next two years. That's a pretty large number (and a large part of the Hawks' cap problem) to move this season. I could potentially see Huet being moved in the offseason, though. The cap really is becoming a problem. I think the Hawks will continue to be very good in coming years, but they will have some serious decisions to make in the offseason. Take a look at the free agents: UFA Adam Burish John Madden RFA Kane* Toews* Ladd Eager Fraser Keith* Hjallmarsson Hendry

No kidding. From earlier commentary in the thread... I agree that San Jose is basically a one line team. If you can control Thornton/Marleau/Heatley, you can beat this team. Take a look at their goal scoring -- 47% of their total goals (including d-men goals) come from that line: 44 to 39. That's not good. Right. But here's the scary part. Given those stats, you'd think it would be 2/7 constantly out there against that line. But it hasn't been. I was shocked a few times to see Q put 4/5 out there to start a PK against them. And they shut it down! Sopel? Yeah! Even he is getting it done. This team is scary good right now. It is. And I have to say, Hjalmarsson is *very* good. He makes up for a lot of Campbell's mistakes, but he's looked very solid, too.

Better that than the otherwise inevitable crushing of Cutler and the slobbering over Jared Allen. Plus, you can confuse and attack Allen... fake screens, chips, slants to his side, designed rollouts to the right. Turn his side into an area that the Vikings need to *defend*, rather than attack, and you neutralize Allen's ability to pressure. Of course, that doesn't mean you aren't right, kujay. Sigh.
