Has Schwarber caught anyone with nasty stuff like Arrieta in the minors? I think if he can have a good game catching him (considering Arrieta is just filty with the movement, etc.) i think he will be fine.

Playing catcher and LF against all righties might not be possible. Not sure lefty / right is an issue for Schwarber tho at least he has a higher .ops against lefties in AAA(small sample size) but in AA he was still solid (.838)

Maybe Coghlan is going to be traded in a package for a pitcher? Schwarber platoon at LF with Denorfia and Catch platoon as well?

the only way i could be fine with trading Hammel is if he is bringing us back a better pitcher in return and his inclusion is just to offset salaries or something.. even then it wouldn't resolve the issue of the #5 starter by committee unless of course some nearly ready AA/AAA prospects were involved.

If you were at a party, and there was a group of people you were listening to talk about the Cubs and talking about sabermetric stats that you're not knowledgeable about, in depth knowledge of the entirety of the Cubs from the business aspects all the way to the lowest minor league systems that you aren't familiar with, and all using a brand of humor they all were in on but you couldn't quite grasp, would you walk up to that group of people and be comfortable jumping in on the conversation with something meatbally like "Man have you seen Lester's W-L record?
