I think everyone knows Castro is pretty terrible this year. its be a topic people have constantly talked about for months now(yeah me included) too bad they cant send him to the minors, they would have to DFA him and someone would pick him up no doubt..

I think the game today will be high scoring. Hopefully we score more than the REDS! While they stink pretty bad, they have some decent bats in that lineup... Please dont have 2 more 3 k games this series against shitty pitchers KB

lol why wouldnt that surprise me the cards give him a league minimum salary tell him to work on a thing or 2 for 2 weeks in AAA he comes up and becomes the Ejax of old... that wouldnt surprise me one bit

Rizzo .280/.915/18/50 Stud Muffin - nuff said Castro .230/.590/2/15 Scrub Fowler .270/.720/5/21 they will let him bat RH if he want vs. rightys Coghlan .265/.750/7/32 He will be steady Denorfia .290/.715/2/10 Good contact hitter Herrera .250/.640/1/15 Mr. bucket head guy Baez (when he comes up, teagarden is dust) .280/.870/6/22 He is gonna crush [expletive]. hope he can make the playoff roster Ross .140/.460/0/4 Needs to retire and coach schwarber full time Montero (If he comes back) .215/.645/6/24 he might have that "injury" for a while if his hand ligament is torn.

walk/strikeout? Yeah. Last 23 PA: 12K, 4BB, 2 hits i been saying for a while he cant really make contact on pitches with a lot of movement. i've watched most games this year and a majority of his hits and homers are either on hanging breaking balls or straight fastballs. I think most players do better against hanging breaking balls and straight fastballs. Not sure, though. Look at the swing he looks akward alot

walk/strikeout? Yeah. Last 23 PA: 12K, 4BB, 2 hits i been saying for a while he cant really make contact on pitches with a lot of movement. i've watched most games this year and a majority of his hits and homers are either on hanging breaking balls or straight fastballs.

Yeah thats why im saying i hope he works on leveling his swing out in the offseason a little. he will have some uppercut no matter what, but just a little more level like schwarber or rizzo and kid will easily bat .300

I remember hearing on mlb tonight that his current swing gives him his pop but also makes it really hard for him to connect square on the barrel with low pitches. I wonder if it's a tweak he will work on in the offseason.

Question, anyone know if Bryant has ever been a line drive hitter even in the minors? Seems like his undercut while generates tons of towering shots also causes a ton of pop ups. Do you guys think maybe thats something he will hopefully work on after the season?
