I think you're on to something. Bryant plays Chipper, Rizzo is a combination of McGriff and Gallaraga, Schwarber is an easy Klesko... Heyward can be Justice, Dex is Marquise Grissom. Soler ... Ron Gant? Sczuzur is Deion Sanders, of course. Contreras will be Javy Lopez soon enough. Jake is Maddux, Lester is Glavine, Lackey can be Old Smoltz (still good). And then I guess Russell and Baez are like two Furcals? I've obviously taken this too far. Point is, I think we're better that those teams full of Hall of Famers.

yes but we've gone down in grit factor Darwin Barney is still on the active roster of a well above-average MLB team, fwiw. I am aware. That does not change the fact that I would still rather have Javy Baez than Darwin Barney, fwiw.

There was a time not too long ago when our starting shortstop was Ryan Theriot and he was backed up by Darwin Barney. Today our starting shortstop is Addison Russell and his back-up is Javier Baez. :good:

I'm not getting sound with this. What am I missing? Nothing with the sound. Eaton is the bearded dude who gets into a quasi staring contest while simultaneously ignoring Rollins. Eaton was the guy who whined about what a leader Drake was before he got banned from the clubhouse. He's also going on paternity leave himself right now. I really am an idiot. Of course that's what it's about. Of course it had nothing to do with Rollins playing Drake's music in the clubhouse. I had forgotten about Drake the kid.

I don't know about lists or order, but I will make the prediction that Contreras, Almora and Happ will contribute to the big club in the next 2-3 years, and Torres, Candelario and McKinney will get traded. Ive got no idea on pitchers, but lets be bold and say Cease and Hudson end up as TOR guys that will eventually replace Lester and Arrieta -
So, in the event his knee is shredded and he's out for the year, at least we have options. Anyone think any of these combinations could eventually happen from options within (after a failed Victorino experiment, predictably)? A. LF Soler/McKinney, 3B Bryant B. LF Bryant, 3B Candelario C.
