I don't know, read through the thread at some of the insults he received for this suggestion. Personally I still think Coghlan at 2B is a really bad idea, but if I were Sontensei I'd be rubbing it in a little bit too.

i would've wanted that before a pitch was thrown this season dude's a beast I'll admit that preseason, I thought the 4 WAR projections for him for this season were a bit optimistic. I'm glad to admit I was wrong about that. i thought i remembered the projection systems being low on him but maybe i missed one I meant more of this board's discussion of him. A lot of people pegged him at 4, and I thought that was definitely possible but had him at more like 3.5. Didn't think a reapeat of 5 - 6 was really likely.

This was my reasoning too. Maybe not a bat flip by the purist definition, but the way he carries the bat sticking straight out for three steps and then gives it the swaggiest little flick, you can practically hear him saying, "[expletive] yeah!" I approve.
