  1. Nope. Injuries to your chest have a nasty tendency to linger without a few days' rest.
  2. What parallel universe are you living in? What little sanity he had has now left him.
  3. Bob Brenly singing Beastie Boys ranks very high on my list of things I never thought I'd see or hear.
  4. *Adds Hunter Pence to the list of young players I hate*
  5. Nah, that guy is supposed to start Tuesday.
  6. His curve looks fine, but his fastball isn't getting much done.
  7. I'd be fine with that.

  9. Part of the problem in evaluating someone like Sandberg is that the higher ups in the organizations are likely giving him specific orders about things like who pitches on a given day, pitch counts, what they want certain players to work on, and so on. While the Cubs might give him some leeway with certain decisions, I can't imagine they give him free rein on how to use a player. That said, he seems to have no trouble letting his guys attempt stolen bases and lay down squeeze plays, from the games I've watched.
  10. Colt Brennan, meet Ty Detmer.
  11. He was moving his arms as he was carted off the field. Probably was knocked unconscious or ordered not to move anything.
  12. Of course not. If Tim Lincecum threw a 22 K perfect game, it wouldn't have led off Sportscenter.
  13. Haha, the Buchholz no-no is leading off Sportscenter.
  14. They did?!?!?!?!?!
  15. There should have been 236, but the game scorer in the Wood Game decided otherwise. :x
  16. Haha. What a horrible, horrible day for the Big Ten. GO BADGERS!
  17. Wood outing. 20K games are more impressive regardless. Not only that, but most metrics say that it's the most dominant starting pitching performance in modern history.
  18. ESPN showed the last out. He had a nasty breaking ball and an ump happy to help him out.
