I always wonder what would have happened to guys such as CPatt, Murton, and Choi if they had a more competent manager and better coaches when they first came up. Maybe nothing would have changed, but it's hard to tell. Cpatt and Choi would never of been good no matter who the manager was. I'm not so sure. Dusty had an Orioles game earlier in the season and Corey was playing. Dusty was bragging about how he taught Corey to swing at high fastballs (which KILLED Corey) when Corey proceeded to strike out swinging on that exact pitch. Maybe Corey was doomed from the get-go, but I really have to wonder about the competence of the managers and coaches the Cubs have had in the past few years.
