  1. WOW. Felix Pie is doomed. At best, he'll be traded for another Derrek Lee. That's not too shabby.
  2. Dorsey's injuries reportedly have concerned plenty of teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see him drop out of the Top 10, especially if Ellis continues climbing. Also, my impression of Dorsey is that he could make a very good 4-3 NT in the pros. That certainly wouldn't hurt the Bears.
  3. I'm fine with all of the above, but I was basically pointing out the fact that DT could be a major weakness for the Bears next season. If the Bears take a DT in the draft, I won't complain. There might be greater needs elsewhere, but the Bears could definitely benefit from shoring up the position.
  4. Frankly, I think DT is the sleeper position for a surprise pick in the 1st or 2nd. You're basically relying on a group of guys with documented health issues and inexperience. Even if everyone's healthy, I'm skeptical about the amount of talent among that group. Harris is terrific, but what about everyone else? If one of the top two DTs (Dorsey or Ellis) falls to 14, I'd be doing cartwheels if the Bears took him. Ditto Kentwan Balmer in the 2nd.
  5. http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/03/05/spring-dugz-chicago-cubs/ Holy crap yes. I win at the internet!
  6. Nothing. That pretty much sums up the whole thread right there.
  7. I don't why he moaned about the horses and then he goes and gets the same ones 2 years later. God, it's so much better being on this side of the fence regarding Dusty. I can not wait to see how he handles Dunn when he watches the 3 strike go by time and time again. Or ball 4, for that matter. Cause it's called hitting, not walking. Plus Dunn's a slow dude. He's the typical base clogger.
  8. Remind me again of the Packers' superiority, given how well they did against the Bears last season. :D With that said, if Adrian Peterson is healthy all season, I'll go with the Vikings to take the North. He's one of the most eye-popping RBs I've ever seen. The guy runs like the opposing team owes him money.
  9. Oh come on, no one's made a Jose Macias joke yet? For shame!
  10. You'd think that. However, couple this past offseason with Jim Hendry's wonderful personnel decisions with Dusty, I'm beginning to think Dusty is a master at blackmail, hypnosis, or voodoo.
  11. Moss reportedly signed a deal with NE today.
  12. The Cubs definitely need a second left-hander out of the pen. Considering the Cubs have a tendency to use Eyre as more of a jack of all trades reliever than a specialist, I'm guessing Pignatiello will become the resident loogy, barring a trade.
  13. Who knew Felix Pie was actually Dean Venture?
  14. I must have missed something...did we make a trade with the Reds? :D
  15. Career vs. LHP: .287/.347/.456 Last three years vs. LHP: .288/.339/.444 He's mediocre in CF. Edit: Damnit UMFan and CCP!
  16. I'd maintain the last good RB the Bears drafted was Neal Anderson back in 1986. I also maintain he is one of the most underrated RBs in recent NFL history.
  17. Why can't you just over-react like everyone else? Nobody is overreacting. Everyone is just joking around. Unclench. As opposed to my reply? How can you tell? No one used a smilie. Subtlety is my middle name. :ninja:
