  1. I think Len had a stroke calling the Soriano HR.
  2. The Phils' 3B coach was ejected during the singing of the Stretch.
  3. So was ball four. I'd be pissed off if I were a Phillies fan.
  4. Those last two pitches looked reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good.
  5. 82 pitches. I'll be shocked if he goes past 5.
  6. If it were 20 starts, you might have something there. But 2 starts? Eh, mark it down as coincidence.

  8. I think you'll like what Casey has to offer. He has a great feel for pitching, is competitive on the mound, throws some good pitches, and could make a nice middle of the rotation type in the majors, especially if he can get his velocity up a tick or two from when I saw him (gun had him around 87-90). You guys are spoiled out at Daytona with pitching. :D If I didn't know better, this scouting report on Casey Coleman sounds close to Sean Gallagher, but without the velocity on the FB. He reminded me a LOT of Ryan Acosta when I saw him.
  9. Do do do dooooo Do do do do doooo http://farm1.static.flickr.com/206/510999823_23796e531c_o.gif YOU! You need to post more! I like you.
  10. Only if it has the intro. "It's time for your medication Mr. Brown..." "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" Also, since we're on the topic of Hair Metal, Patton Oswalt's opinion is relevant here: Link

  12. The Cardinals have a huge following throughout most of the Midwest thanks to KMOX carrying their games and having a huge reach throughout the US from the 1950s until about 2006. It's surprising how many Cardinals fans you'll find in those areas.
  13. It's closed on weekends and at night on weekdays. They're doing a lot of construction down there until the end of October.
  14. I came here to post the same thing. He ended up throwing 132 pitches. He was at 118 at the end of the 7th and Bochy tossed him back out there. Nuts. McCovey Chronicles just exploded.

  16. Replacing Marmol with Ceda would be moronic. Ceda's had some impressive control problems throughout his career, despite the great stuff. Bringing Ceda up to get him some major league experience and seasoning when rosters expand? Sure, why not. He could be used in blowouts effectively.
  17. Just wait for the Phillies to score 7 in the 9th.
  18. What? FSNMW was advertising this thing about Mizzou games being on PPV on September 6th and 13th. I didn't catch all of it. More Info
