    Maybe my memory is clouding my judgment, but he took terrible routes on balls. We don't even need to discuss the guy's arm. The only thing he had going for him in the OF was that he was fast and could make up for his bad jumps and routes with his speed. I hated Juan Pierre.

    Really? Because of the four offseason RF targets the Cubs had going into the winter meetings, Gathright is better than 2-3 of them (depending on how many games you think Bradley will last in the outfield). And that's BEFORE you take contract value into account. Are you a Juan Pierre fan?
