  1. Hey guys, I just got a call from the Astros asking me if I was available to PH tonight so I could get a HR. I'm thinking about taking them up on it. Should I?
  2. Adam Everett... ...oh hell, it's not even worth it any more.
  3. .....that was random. Loving the Simpsons quotes, though. "Mr Simpson, are you wearing a grocery bag?" "I have misplaced my pants." It's one of those games where off-topic banter will be tolerated.
  4. Simpson, Homer Simpson, He's the greatest guy in historyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy From the, Town of Springfield, He's about to hit a chestnut tree... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
  5. I don't think they'll have to worry very much about their 3-4-5 starters getting overworked.
  6. The real test will be how Ortiz does. I think your question has been answered.
  7. It always has a bunch of kinks in it early in the season. Doesn't make it any less annoying, though.
  8. Runs in the inning after a big inning? Are these MY Cubs? Usually they take an eight inning nap after a big first inning!
  9. Better than seeing two boobs calling a game on Sunday Night Baseball.
  10. Good job not giving up runs after a big inning, Ted.
  11. Lance Berkman's MLB.com picture is trying to seduce me.
  12. Lilly has probably been the most consistent starter since his acquisition. I don't quite get that... He had some struggles early in the season last year, but yeah, he has been really good. Considering the initial response to the contract we gave him, he's turned out to be one of Jim Hendry's pleasant surprises.
  13. LF Soriano CF Fukudome 1B Lee RF Bradley 3B Ramirez 2B Fontenot SS Theriot C Hill P Lilly
  14. Len, Do you spend much time talking with other teams' broadcasters? If so, considering you've been in the majors for awhile now, are there any broadcasters you particularly look forward to meeting? Also, have you had an opportunity to get acquainted with the new owners of the Cubs? If so, what can you tell us about your experiences with them? Thanks!
  15. I don't think he's even close to physically ready for the NBA, but if someone like say, the Wizards want to take him ahead of OKC, that'd be fine with me Another year would benefit him (especially after his wrist injury last year) in terms of getting a bit more size and more consistent outside shooting, but someone with his court vision, intelligence, creativity, and defensive ability would be a tremendous asset in the NBA. The NBA is currently very guard-friendly and I think there's something to be said for that. Plus, I like Griffin, but I'm not enamored with him. defensive ability? he weighs 125 pounds, he'll get abused from day one He's bigger than that (Draft Express and NBA Draftnet have him at 180 pounds) and he's apparently done a very good job when it comes to racking up steals.
