  4. I like it when Bob Brenly answers my questions.
  5. What's the ruling for when the catcher touches the ball with his catcher's gear? Free base to the runner?
  6. Not at all close. It was right around the edge of the warning track. LOL Soriano.
  7. they're like that hot high school cheerleader. things are going well, she finds a rich guy, but eventually the rich guy leaves her with nothing. So...the fans are the rich guy? I'm confused with your analogy.
  8. Also, to paraphrase McCovey Chronicles...
  9. "Who does this guy think he is?" "I'm Keith Hernandez."
  10. Would it be more humiliating losing a series at home against the Nationals or against the injury-riddled Mets?

  12. I like the way you think. They also have some fascinating potential "buy low" prospects in guys like Matt Dominguez, Kyle Skipworth, and Sean West.
  13. The farm system is probably a tick or two below average compared to the rest of MLB right now, but it's a major improvement from where it was this time last year.
  14. More booing. I fully expect Bradley to air some dirty laundry to the media today.
  15. You are a stronger man than I. In a related note, this will bethe first time I'm prepared for my fantasy football draft since 2006. Got your draft slot assigned already?
  16. Oh come on, Aaron Miles has to be on that team somewhere.
  17. Why did so many of you expect Bradley to hit 25 or more HRs in a season when he's had a poor track record of staying healthy and when the most HRs he ever hit in a season was 22?
  18. It's that damned goat's fault. It keeps casting its supernatural magic from Goat Hell, eternally embittered and angry at the Cubs for not allowing it entrance to Wrigley.
  19. Ditto. Where did you hear this? And, frankly, if LaRussa is going to bolt for another team in the NL Central, the Reds seem to make the most sense to me since Jocketty's there.
