  1. I love how this team is so awesome at sucking on defense in any 2nd and long/3rd and long situation.
  2. I missed it...did he call a timeout and then after the timeout challenge the play? Mercifully no. He just challenged the play, despite the fact that it pretty obviously was a fumble.
  3. Gotta got into midseason challenge form somehow!
  4. Reggie Golden apparently has fallen off the face of the planet.
  5. Ditto. In 1st grade, kids would also make fun of you for saying "pee pee" in spelling the name. It was like being asked to spell "attic".
  6. That was more on Fukudome, imo. He made a bad throw that caused Hill to be way out of position on that one. Hill had no chance to make the subsequent tag. I was more referring to the reason Schumaker was on 2nd to begin with. True!
  7. I have faith that this bullpen will implode in spectacular fashion today.
  8. That was more on Fukudome, imo. He made a bad throw that caused Hill to be way out of position on that one. Hill had no chance to make the subsequent tag.
  9. Rain delay in Daytona after 1 inning of play.
  10. If I ever make a billion dollars, I'm investing in anyone who can invent a TV that allows you to mute sports broadcasters. Hearing just the action on the field would be so much better than this.
  11. Great play by DeWitt! Too bad we couldn't see it. #-o
  12. June: .265/.342/.471 July: .313/.340/.667 August: .296/.387/.444 He's been back for awhile now. :D
  13. Phil Rogers floated this idea in his latest column.
  14. I don't really blame them for giving Molina a standing ovation. Heck, I would have done the same for Kyle Farnsworth in his first Wrigley appearance after he beat the heck out of Paul Wilson. Sorry, giving a standing ovation that lasts until the pitch comes in and then another one for his second at bat for starting to jaw with someone at home plate is stupid. I saw a lot of stupid today. I said that after the first standing ovation. The second one was incredibly stupid.

  16. Is it wrong that there's a slightly twisted part of me hoping for a 100 loss season?
  17. Thomas Diamond is kinda mediocre. Good thing the Cubs converted Cashner to the pen!
  18. I don't really blame them for giving Molina a standing ovation. Heck, I would have done the same for Kyle Farnsworth in his first Wrigley appearance after he beat the heck out of Paul Wilson.
  19. Aw, crap. Lee and Castro were coming up lame coming home on that one.
