Interesting. I was told by the Cubs' rep that you could purchase up to 8 on the pre-sale. I will have to double-check.

I purchased my season tickets for the bleachers next year. I have two of them, so if anyone is needing tickets this upcoming year, just let me know. Also, I plan on buying 8 Foo Fighters tickets on Friday, but probably won't make it to the concert so if you are looking for those, I will have some available as well. Just message me on here.

I was driving home from work today and I got the call from the Cubs saying my number finally came up... seven years after originally signing up. Problem is, I live in Montana. I am probably going to purchase them anyhow. Does anyone else on here purchase them and then re-sell individual game tickets often? If so, could you message me?

Ohh right. http://38.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m40my5ktWv1qcmb4mo1_400.gif It may be the bourbon talking right now, but if you could have 5 guys (Stanton, Rizzo, Baez, Soler, and Bryant) who can hit 40 homers and another guy (Schwarber) hit 30 homers, it would be the most potent lineup... ever? Add in a 200 hit guy (Castro) and a potential 20 homer CF (Konami), and things just get silly. again, stanton isn't even necessary for the absurdity you speak of. it's already going to be absurd. obviously adding stanton to that is amazing. oh, and then remember the depressed offensive environment we're in to really put things in perspective. this would be like a blake street bombers lineup except guys can play defense and we dont play in coors field in the middle of the steroid era But instead of an end-of-career Charlie Hayes, over-the-hill Andres Galarraga, prime Larry Walker, and out-of-his-mind Dante Bichette, the Cubs would have a prime Stanton and 5 others who are under 26 years of age. Holy [expletive].

MLB is going to make the Cubs use pitchers as DH's every third hitter just to make it more fair.

I think it would be in MLB's best interests to have a NL vs. AL vs. Cubs Home Run Derby for the next 10 years. My money is on the Cubs.

I hear that the MLB can get discounts on engravings if they just do a bunch at the same time. They can pre-order the next 5 MVP award plaques with the name Jorge Soler printed on them. It will save time and money.

If you add up the inches off the plate that West has given Miller and subtract the inches on the plate Hendricks hasn't gotten, theoretically if the universe equals out, Hendricks should be able to throw one into the Cardinals dugout and have it called a strike this at-bat.
