  1. That must have been one serious concussion. They all are. Baseball isn't football. The likelihood of taking a major hit to the head again isn't very good.
  2. I'd figure Cespedes still sits. He'll want more than Upton after what he did for the Mets but I don't see any team that will. He'll either settle on an Upton like deal or sign a short term one betting on being the Mets player and not the player he has been the majority of his career.
  3. Don't think you can lump college and professional coaches together. Professional has so many more variables which is why one team doesn't stay dominant for decades on end.
  4. Co-worker said it is the craziest thing he's seen. I laughed. Nothing will ever beat Reggie Miller getting those 9 points to beat the Knicks.
  5. Big step down
  6. Most likely, but what happens if there's a bad snap and GB gets the ball? Or GB is able to put up a great stand? Both scenarios are very unlikely, but can happen and would cost you your season. You can't take that chance. and what happens when you play GOD who wears a #12 jersey? you dont, if you can avoid it. You arent going to beat Rodgers with over a minute left in the game and all three timeouts, no matter how good you think you might plan and when your top CB is hurt this God who wears #12 you speak of plays tonight
  7. Lane has actually proven to be pretty versatile when it comes to offensive schemes. While at Tennessee, he had an immobile QB and ran a vertical, pro-style offense that rarely was in the shotgun. At Alabama with Blake Sims, he ran a lot more shotgun than at Tennessee and mixed in QB runs effectively. Lane is a lot of things, but a very good, versatile offensive coach is one of those. He wouldn't last long. Tomsula has been there 8 years, is loved by all players and is considered very close with the front office and owner. They have a yes man as a head coach, Kiffin would be cutting off his own head. Wouldn't be the first time he's done that though so I wouldn't be surprised.
  8. this is going to OT, better question is why Lynch didnt stop at the 1. 4 plays to score a TD, they would have and run down some time ...or you not be stupid and give the defense a chance to stop you when you're losing. they could have had it at the 1/2 yard line with 4 downs and what 1:2x on the clock? Seattle would have been fine Most likely but not guaranteed. You don't risk it. You trust your defense which is the best in the league.
  9. this is going to OT, better question is why Lynch didnt stop at the 1. 4 plays to score a TD, they would have and run down some time You get the TD when you can. You don't assume you'll get it later. Especially with Seattle's defense. You trust your best unit.
  10. GB had ball for 100 minutes and scored 19. This is all Seattle d. And they had nothing to do with the collapse of Green Bay's defense which had outplayed Seattle's all day.
  11. Turnover for 6 coming ...
  12. And add luckiest two point conversion ever to the list.
  13. Top 5 ever choke job by Green Bay. Top 5 luckiest final 3 minutes by Seattle.
  14. Say Seahawk pull off the big last minute comeback, where would it rank? Top 3? Music City Miracle is always top for me, there's The Catch and what else?
  15. Oh man things might get real fun in SF The HC hire was bad enough.. add Kiffin to the mix and it could get comical there. Especially because Kiffin is a pass first guy who is arrogant enough to try and make Kaepernick fit his offense rather than the other way around. Always use a scheme that fits your players strengths the best.
  16. How does a ref miss three consecutive steps out of bounds?
  17. The talk of the ad world last week. Lots of great parodies First time seeing it. I was literally dumbfounded by it. You sell fast food. Don't try to be anything else.
  18. 49ers looking at Lane Kiffin for OC? And you thought Harbaugh's ego was big ...
  19. Uh, McDonalds ... what the F was that?
  20. I say keep the bats and get pitching in FA. Or wait for a cheap deal to come about in season. See no reason to rush.
  21. Eli [expletive] sucks, shut the [expletive] up Nope: http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1211729-ny-giants-eli-manning-is-the-most-clutch-quarterback-since-joe-montana JOIN THE PRESENT! That article is from 2012. When you want people to respond to the 2013 season and not their careers as a whole, you normally specify that Until further notice implies current, present day. Just like Adrian Peterson is not called the best RB or the MVP currently despite being both at some point in his career but no continue with the defense of something that was never argued.
  22. Ha, they have three titles and Eli played like a stud when it counted in the playoffs Eli [expletive] sucks, shut the [expletive] up Nope: http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/1211729-ny-giants-eli-manning-is-the-most-clutch-quarterback-since-joe-montana JOIN THE PRESENT! 23. Ha, they have three titles and Eli played like a stud when it counted in the playoffs Last year he was perhaps the worst QB in the league. Clutch years ago, lately however is a different story. Eli looks better this year. Still, two titles. You can't forget those. Both Mannings could be hall of famers. Quit trying to argue something that wasn't being said. Join the present. That is what was talked about. Last year Eli was the biggest choker, before that Peyton was always thought as it. Now it is Cutler.
  24. Wouldn't say they looked all that great in the second half. Watched the whole game and they weren't moving the ball, Benjamin looked like the rookie he is and Cam seemed a bit off. They were gifted the win by Cutler late. If Chicago takes care of the ball and I think the game has a different outcome. Well, no duh. If you looked like one of the best in 2nd you wouldn't need turnovers to come back from 7 points down.
