  1. i noticed it and hated it the first time i saw it yup. every time someone hits the ball at him im like jesus christ i gotta watch this horsefeathers throw a ball again I always feel like he's going to spike it into the ground
  2. DeJong ties it with a 2 run homer. His 32% K rate and 2.2% BB rate has to be the end of him at some point. I'm already excited for the DeJong is better than Bryant hot takes
  3. I do not like facing James Shields since our guys have clearly never seen a changeup
  4. you live in the chicago area and you've somehow managed to avoid seeing him til now? I actually moved to Austin about a year ago and didn't watch much ABC news when I lived in Chicagoland.
  5. Jesus Christ this Jim Rose character will haunt the horsefeathers out of my dreams tonight.
  6. DJ Wilson becomes a beast in OOTP baseball. I'll pass on that deal.
  7. Time to check Sears' tweets. he hasn't reworded that Nightengale tweet yet, but I found my new personal favorite [tweet] [/tweet] He quotes Crasnick about the Cubs liking Lugo's spin and his breakout potential, and then he drops in that they're basically making decisions based off of WBC results. Man I think I need to horsefeathers with this guy.
  8. MLBTR had this little nugget on the Birds.... "Though it’s still unclear just what course the Cardinals will take at the deadline, the club is now “expected to listen to offers” on outfielders Tommy Pham and Randal Grichuk, according to MLB.com’s Jon Morosi. While the Cards do now have quite a few options in the corner outfield, both of these players seem to fall in a curious spot in the potential market. There just isn’t much deadline demand in the corner outfield to drive up prices, and the Cards would surely be valuing their lengthy control rights in exploring potential deals. While there’d surely be interest, neither really looks to be a likely deadline mover from the outside. Of course, St. Louis also has some shorter-term assets that might be of interest — Lance Lynn, Seung-hwan Oh, and Trevor Rosenthal chief among them — and Morosi does note that the Dodgers and Nationals had scouts at the club’s latest game last night. Whether the Cardinals will really punt on the present season when the division is still in reach, though, is hardly clear at this point." Trade for Grichuk and put him on the bereavement list indefinitely, Theo.
  9. Derrick Goold and various twitter responders were getting quite upset at Willson after his homer yesterday. Apparently he kissed his bicep? [tweet] [/tweet] He didn't really seem upset in the prior tweet either Yeah he was genuinely curious when he asked. But he also said he hadn't seen Willson whip out the dong that often, pretending that Willson hasn't absolutely murdered the Cardinals for a full year now.
  10. KB being completely baffled by the corpse of James Shields is one of the many curiosities of baseball. He will dong him tomorrow on a dead fish changeup Edit: I should've added it would be in the 3rd inning with the Cubs already up 7-0 or something because it would be leverage free and a meaningless dong.
  11. Reading his tweets in response to himself about what Wittenmeyer reported is pure gold.
  12. Jesus. I think it's time I become a transaction monkey and just start plagiarizing others tweets.
  13. Their fans on twitter are the best. Mention Coors and they will actually debate that the environment there isn't any different than anywhere else. Mix in Petriello having to explain why Bryant is better than Arenado on a daily basis and it's just so much fun to watch
  14. Bryant is clearly hungover. Those were two of the worst ABs I've ever seen from him
  15. Lackey is garbage. I would trade half the system to get Gray just so I don't have to watch his horsefeathers.
  16. I've got a signed gold Schwarber jersey and it might be my favorite Cubs piece I own.
