  1. There we go.
  2. They were in the park before gates open. From the type of crowd it was it looked like a boys and girls club or something. We had a ton of groups in the park that day; I'm pretty sure that's all it was.
  3. Oh no we didn't. Those are two totally different situations.
  4. Posted this in another thread, so - so true.
  5. + eleventy billion. Well, i wouldnt exactly call the victorino thing hilarious; but I agree just the same.
  6. I assumed with "Phil Rogers" in the title this qualified as such a thread.
  7. Tarver, dude, we know it's you. Give it up.
  8. Nothing earth shattering; but here's rotoworld's take...
  9. I guess this is a good of a place as any to post this blog from fangraphs. Nothing earth shattering, just good to hear from another source, I suppose. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index.php/bradley-taking-the-fall some excerpts:
  10. Just watched the replay of Pujols' shot....it really wasnt that bad to me. He it's not as if he stood there and watched, he was at least walking towards first while he peered at his shot. Of course, i'm biased because I don't really give a damn if a player watches his shot. Particularly game-winners.
  11. Sosa had several years in the teens. I dont ever remember him dropping a ball though. I also never remember him making a good accurate throw. I don't think that's fair, really. I remember a few times Sammy nailed a runner at the plate. He did have a very good arm, and when it was accurate, it was deadly. Sammy wasn't the best outfielder I've ever seen, but he certainly wasn't a liability out there. exactly, he had a pretty good arm. It wasn't always accurate; but it's not like he was Jacque Jones out there, either.
  12. he's not allowed to play catch with his daughter? He could, but he won't cause he's a lazy bum.
  13. sparkplugs don't drive in runs. clearly.
  14. HGH, I mean pixie dust. PROTEEIIIIINNN
  15. Better yet, I'd love to hear your...i mean..cubs'n'clippers view on it again.
  16. Yeah, this title led me to believe this was an actual report. We should fix that to circumvent any potentially suicidal members...
  17. Jesus, debbie downer. No one is saying it took incredible skill to make the play, it's just pretty cool that this is only the second time in baseball history it has ever happened. Didn't Asdrubel Cabrera just do it last year? No. Unassisted triple plays have happened something like 17 times I think they said, but this is only the second time one has ever ended a game. I believe they said the other one was in the 30's or something. ETA: I was close..kinda:
  18. Holy crap. Some random person said they saw someone doing something with no confirmation!? DFA him immediately.
  19. Hey, nobody said he was a good GM.
  20. Jesus, debbie downer. No one is saying it took incredible skill to make the play, it's just pretty cool that this is only the second time in baseball history it has ever happened.
  21. Why? As a GM he traded Scott Kazmir for Victor Zambrano. No he didnt.
