  2. I'd say it fisted him.
  3. Right. With my huge beat-down victory of the 3rd place team this week (Thank you, Drew Brees) I have crawled my way back into 6th place in the league after a very disappointing start. The top 6 teams make the playoffs in this league and the playoffs start in week 14, so basically if I win I'm in. Luckily I'm playing the worst team in the league this week and his only really good player is Tom Brady. I think I'm gonna go with the "safe" bet in Hester.
  4. That's frickin' spectacular. I especially love the "F you" grin that tiger has on his face as he pulls away in his sweet mini van right before the crash.
  5. The players burnt down the economy? And here I thought it was Obama.
  6. I like Nate Washington against Indy. But I think I would go with Hester and Moss. Washington will probably be behind this whole game and will be throwing. I agree with Moss. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get 8-9 catches and if he's lucky enough to get a TD it could be a huge fantasy week for him. Also, it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to pick up Henderson just because of the way Brees spreads the ball around, but I'd have to think that Hester would be a better option this week. Brees ability to spread the ball around is one of the main reasons I'm weary of Henderson. He only has 2 TD's all year, and that's due in large part to the fact that Brees apparently has about 13 other guys to throw to.
  7. Alright, here we go. I've got 2 WR spots and 4 very mediocre WR's that I could potentially use to fill them. I have: Devin Hester v. StL Anquan Boldin v. Min - Potentially w/out Warner Santana Moss v. NO Lee Evans v. NYJ As far as free agents go Devery Henderson(NO), Donnie Avery(StL), Mike Wallace(Pit), Chris Chambers(KC), Nate Washington(Ten), andJason Avant(Phi) are all available. I'm really not sure what to do here. I'm thinking Hester might be a safe start since StL is horrid, but beyond that I'm not sure. Maybe Evans considering he might get some more looks since Revis will more than likely be covering T.O. all day... I don't know. Opinions?
  8. Damnit, you beat me by like 10 minutes. I'll move mine over to this thread.
  9. Halladay is clearly the better pitcher, but we don't need to do this. We have plenty of prospects, that's not the problem.
  10. Should they? I was just starting to buy into the notion that we should largely sit tight this offseason. Yes yes yes. I'm with UMF on this one, when you have the opportunity to go out and get one of the top 3 pitchers in all of baseball, you give it everything you've got. In listening to interviews w/ Rickets, I'm pretty sure I've heard him directly say that he's not looking to add a ton of payroll, but if an opportunity comes along to greatly improve the team it's "something you have to look at," or something along those lines. Also, commenting on the "but our pitching wasn't the problem" argument: I generally agree. However how much trust do you put in Randy Wells to repeat last year? Will Harden be back, if he is will he be healthy? Z is becoming an increasing injury risk every year it seems, and even if he is healthy he still hasn't been able to put together a complete season where he's the ace we know he can be on any given day.
  11. Vanilla Ice? Really? Jesus.
  12. I know I probably shouldn't, but I love those Peyton Manning commercials.
  13. YES! The Pats throw in the towell
  14. YES. Thank you, Daren Sharper.
  15. This is freaking glorious.
  16. I could watch that for hours. Seriously. Not to try and steal a line from the gentleman in my signature, but this is like freaking football porn.
  17. I can't stand Gruden, usually. Hopefully someone told him to cut the hell back on his stupid nicknames. The first few games of the year he threw one out every ten or so minutes. Jaws is pretty annoying.
  18. Suck it, Belichick!
  19. Even the announcers were like "it's near or at the line of scrimmage" It can't be near. It has to be at or past. I love bending the rules for Brady.
  20. Gruden hasn't been as bad today. He hasn't given anybody one of his terrible nicknames yet. "I call him the ...blahblahblah" Shut the hell up, Gruden.
  21. Drew Brees is freaking fantasy gold. 38 Points already.
  22. Whoever 29 on the Saints is should be beaten. He freaking half-jogged that whole time.
  23. Crap.
  24. And yet my fantasy league didn't count that as a solo tackle. wtf. Also, ellis, fall the hell down, stop trying to be a goddamned running back.
  25. SWUNG ON BELTED, DEEP LEFT FIELD....and caught about 15 feet shy of the warning track.
