    Who is starting doesnt mean jack. People get pulled from the middle of games all the time. It happened to bigbie ( i think thats who it was) just the other day.

    Yea there is like 54.2 (i think) million dollars in deferred money (at 4% interest). Its deferred till 2009-2024 :shock: I do NOT NOTNOTNOTNOTNOTNOTNOTNOTNOTNOT want Griffey. I'd LOVE dunn though.

    I have a feeling that one of Dunn/Ramirez will be a cub by 3:30 today. Hendry, obviously, is being extreemly quiet this year. He was this way last year, too, for the most part. If I have learned anything about hendry (from the past few years, and chats with bruce miles) it is that he does NOT sit still. Literally or figuratively. You can bet your bottom dollar he is on his Cell phone talkign to somebody's GM right now. Truthfully, I wouldnt be at all surprised if we walked away from today with both Adamn Dunn AND Austin Kearns. Sounds utterly ridiculous I know, but, I really have a big hunch we are gonna get dunn/manny (My gut feeling is dunn) by the end of the day. I just hope I'm right.

    Thery are total and complete idiots if they dont at least TRY to trade Griffey the the Yankees. They are in dire need of a CF'er and they'd probably pay most of his contract.

    Why don't we just trade Dusty for Tracy and call it good? Nevermind that: how about Dusty for Sgt. Pornstache, straight up? :wink: I'd do Dusty for Edwin Jackson. I'd trade Dusty for a sack of batting practice balls and a half-eaten salami sandwich. :roll: People are so damned greedy :P

    I'll be p-o'd. Now, Granted, I dont want him to trade just for the sake of trading. But I still would like to see us upgrade over hollandsworth....

Tomorrow when I get up I have to finish (and start) my submission for the transaction contest, and then go to work. Hopefully osmething will get done between the times in which I do those two things.

    If we had to deal Pie, I think I'd rather have Dunn. I'd rather have dunn reguardless (due to contract, age, and antics). But I'd do backflips for either.

    For some unknown reason my boss scheduled me for a four hour shift (12:30 - 4:30) That means my break should come sometime around 2:30. It'll only be fifteen minutes long. But do you think I'm gonna rush home and check NSBB? You betcha.

    Better make sure you're not at work when that happens then. Or, wear a hat to throw or something. Yea. I wont figure out what has/hasnt happened till I get home from work. Thats probably a good thing.

    Exchanging Walker for Soriano at 2B wouldn't really be much of an upgrde. It isn't worth giing up Walker and prospects to get Soriano at second. I agree. Soriano is, overall, a marginal upgrade over walker, at best. Why give him, PLUS prospects up to get soriano. All that said, I'm getting frickin excited.

    To respond to CT's post, I dont think anythign will go down untill tomorrow. I have absoloutley no inside info whatsoever. I just dont see it happening. As for both Kearns AND Dunn.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My question is, would that mean that we are moving burnitz somewhere else? possibly for starting pitching? or is he goign to play center :x
