  1. Woah, jeez man, we dont even know for sure if this is true. Its second hand questionable information at best.
  2. anybody know anything about these?, because I just looked at some other teams and the Cubs are the only team that i've seen with them. Sosaphobia? http://mlb.mlb.com/images/2004/01/08/8BuuNxmh.jpg
  3. Then its only fair you get irritated at Lee, too. He does a Hop after he hits a HR to, granted, not as dramatic, but a distinct hop none-the-less. I have no problem with players hopping or doing something of the sort when they homer. Some of the most memorable Homers wouldnt be as memorable if it wasnt for the players reaction. Edmonds crap in the outfield does make me mad though. I dont care if he watches his homers, I care that he dives at a ball that he could just as easily walk to. Anyways, this thread is WAY off topic. A Z-delivered fastball is the preferred method of capitol punishment in 38 states.
  4. YIKES. forget bleacher box then. Thats ridiculous. And if i can get into wrigley for ten buxx, I dont care if I have to lay on a bed of nails and watch the game... However paying an extra 4 dollars for nosebleed seats way up in the upper deck sounds like a better option.
  5. It looks like that may be what I have to do. I was hoping to go before june (i.e while school is still in) on a weekend. Because I know the female parental unit wont let me take off school for the cubs. (she really needs to get her prioritys straight). Looks like I may be waiting till june for my bleacher experiance. Maybe i'll buy some nosebleed seats for soemtime in april/may.
  6. You mean bleacher box seats? Most bleacher (as in no seat back, general admission) have sold out already. I did not know the bleacher tickets had sold out already. That sucks. Are the prices for bleacher box the same? Also, i just checked and there are no value days in june, so much for that idea. But anyways, how much are bleacher box tickets? It doesnt have them listed on cubs.com.
  7. I was looking over the cubs website today, and I know that since this is the first weekend for ticket sales, not all tickets are available. So, when do bleacher tickets go on sale? I've always wanted to sit out there in the bleachers, and now that i have a job and am independently wealthy, kinda, I think I'm gonna snag a couple of tickets whenever they decide to go on sale. Thanks in advance!
  8. Here here (everyone knock on wood please). NOT his arm tho. Nobody touch that.
  9. I think your all nuts, I love the 7th inning stretch. Its fun. Allthough, They do need to pick guests better. Ozzy and Jeff Gordon should not be allowed in wrigley stadium ever. But yea, I like the stretch. I'm sure I'm pretty much alone in that though.
  10. YESSSSSS OMG FINALLY.... Oh, wait...Boehringer, not Giles. Darn.
  11. I haven't, but he was a decent sized kid last year. I saw him pretty close in Cincy and his got some big legs. When I saw him at the caravan he looked pretty buff, too.
  12. That is GREAT news. and heres my $.02 on what the rotation should be... Z Prior Wood Williams Maddux
  13. Game recaps maybe. I dont know how well that would go over however because most of us just come hear and read about the game if we dont get a chance to see it.
  14. i'm very surprised mauer dropped so low
  15. The good news is, both arms are indeed attached to his body. that was my first reaction
  16. Yah i'm gonna go ahead and hope that was just an unflattering picture...
  17. They are like the Dahm triplets. Each is as increadably sexy as the next.
  18. I saw him at the caravan, he looked to ge in real good shape.
  19. he played in an era with like 5 teams. That's a negative strike in my book. He played in the same era as babe ruth... So shouldnt that strike go against ruth too?
  20. Thats what i was going for. If I'm not mistaken he still holds some records for pitching in the w.s. He was a great pitcher, and probably the best hitter ever. Combined, that makes him leaps and bounds above what arod could ever be, unless he hits 800 HRs and 3807504720672507 rbi's
  21. I wonder why Ty Cobb gets so little love on these lists.
