  1. I would put my money on Z against anybody on this planet. He's just one of those guys that once you get his adrenaline going there's not much that can stop him. That, and he's freakin' insane.
  2. It would be. I just hope there's no bad blood. You know there will be a bunch of idiots who will boo him. Unfortunately those "bunch of idiots" are your average cubs fans.
  3. Half-standing ovation for lee. lol.
  4. Hill is pitching batting practice up there!
  5. Jesus, they are hammering Hill so far.
  6. "The cubs are taking a swing at prostate cancer" There HAS to be a better slogan than that.
  7. If Kobe came to the bulls i'd cry. For no other reason than that the media would beat the jordan-comparisons to death.
  8. are you serious? wayne messmer is awesome. I like it better when he sings alone, though.
  9. So, how many Homers does Lee hit today? 10? 12?
  10. I'm still trying to figure out the Astros one. yeah, I dont get that either. It makes more sense for the whitesox, since their announcers always call them "good guys" :puke:
  11. No kidding. That was my first thought when I saw the clip last night. those things are bigger than my legs and its not even close. Maybe you just have bird legs. Edit: By the way LOVE the sig! haha, hardly. My legs are huge. Zambranos arms are just insane. And thank you! I cant stop laughing when I look at that.
  12. Eh. He's a big guy. BIg guys tend to sweat a LOT. Especially on days as hot as yesterday.
  13. No kidding. That was my first thought when I saw the clip last night. those things are bigger than my legs and its not even close.
  14. while the sox one is pretty terrible... "Pledge Your Allegiance" is absolutely horrible. Wow.
  15. Not to mention that he's old and we already have about 34 outfielders. I've heard rumors about Jr. going to the sox, but not the northside. Wierd.
  16. He broke his moxy bone :(
  17. If Lee and Ramirez suspension/DL stint overlap....I'd bat him 3rd.
  18. I love Z! And I know everyone here does too. So let's just sit around the campfire and tell stories of Z's awesomeness. Some of my favorite Z moments: -Getting Barry Bonds to line out weakly, right back to him, with the bases loaded, and then promptly going bazerk on the mound and pumping his fist. -12 career Home Runs! -Predicting 110-120 wins back in 2005(?) -The fight yesterday, with his belt off looking like he was about to give someoen a whoopin' -Yesterdays Post-game interview. Somoene asked him what he said to some of the Padres on the field during the altercation. He replied, "I didn't say nothing...I just went out there to separate...." as a huge smile came across his face and the whole room broke into laughter. Yeah..Separate... In conclusion. Z is absolutely freakin' nuts and by the end of his career it's likely he'll have 3,000 wins, 800 HR, and 4 murder charges. http://images.sportsline.com/u/photos/baseball/mlb/img8604748.jpg http://images.sportsline.com/u/photos/baseball/mlb/img9571541.jpg http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20070516/capt.e530c14ae56249d6a74dd6b928fab1a4.cubs_mets_baseball_nys114.jpg
