  1. What'd he do? I missed it Hit the ball a long way and then pulled his pants down at home plate and danced around in this underwear. Bikini Style?
  2. Patriots fans are th worst invention ever. Go Indians! I don't mind the Sox, and I like the Patriots simply because I hate the Colts. Being from Indiana I have a soft spot for the colts. Plus, Peyton Manning is just an awesome guy, so I find it hard to dislike them. The sox don't bother me, but I don't like them as much as I used to. As for the patriots...ugh. Tom Brady really needs to get sacked by someone. Hard. And not get up. The QB who needs to be taken out the most is Tony Romo, and it's not even close. And another year without the Yankees or Red Sox in the series is always a good thing. :D Looks like we're headed that way, too. Romo doesn't bother me. He should, because he's really headed in the same direction as brady (as the National Media's subject of fellation), but right now you can't watch anything related to football without at least one mention of OMGZ BRADY AND THE PATRIOTS ARE UNDEFEATED. Oh, and hooray for redsox/yankees-less world series.
  3. :shaking:

  5. Yeah, farnsworth was really worth the guys we got for him.

  7. I'm in serious need of a decent backup running back since Deuce McInjury decided to let his leg explode or whatever the hell happened to him. Everyone on my team not named LDT is up for grabs. I'm also interested in another somewhat decent WR, but it's not a necessity. Send me some proposals if you're interested.
  8. Actually you outscored my opponent by 10 points
  9. Sign me up for that plan.+1
  10. I remember that (you did that twice, if I recall). I think you're the only person to actually ask to be banned. :D oh wow, I might have to do that. I've been considering it as well. Yeah, This is a good Idea. i think this might happen for me come finals.
  11. I love the fact that I'm going to win even though BOTH of my starting WR were on bye weeks and i was too dumb to check before sunday and replace them.
  12. Hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha I wonder how long it will take for Harang to get mark prior'd. Also, the best part of this is; you know somewhere out there, there is some poor sap reds fan who actually is really excited about this because Dusty is a "big name" manager. Outstanding.
  13. At least we've got the Bulls. So quick to get off the bandwagon? http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/sp/getty/89/fullj.getty-75557896ms013_chicago_bears.jpg Jesus, no wonder he dropped the ball, whoever that guy on the bears is just slammed him in the balls. :x ouch.
  14. Hahahahahaha No-No, don't you understand? Never being closer than 10 games out after APRIL THIRTIETH takes some serious talent.
  15. Welcome to the forum! But, HOLY HUGE AVATARS, BATMAN (and bright obnoxious jackets...wow)
  16. 1. At what point has he ever denied any responsibility for the teams performance? Give me one example. 2. People seriously need to stop blaming Lou for Soto. As soon as Soto came up, Lou started him and continued to start him down the stretch over the much more "veteren" predecessor. That's something that Dusty, and many other managers in baseball, would not do. 3. Stop making things up. The last time they were closer than TEN! games out of first place was April 30 of that season. As for the wild card, they finished ten games out. They were dead long before the last week. So yes, I question your 2006 reference. There was probably a reason he got fired after only one season, and then did not get re-hired the following year. EDIT: Oh, and as for the wildcard, the closest they got was 2 games back on September 11, the last day of their season high 9 game win streak. After which they quickly fell back apart.
  17. No; baseball is dead to me. That's not to say I'm not a fan of baseball in general; but just because the way our season ended, baseball is dead to me for a little while.
  18. see ya, Lou. my biggest HOPE is that Piniella is replaced by Girardi... Why? So, that we can return to being an also-ran in the NL Central? return? laughable. you must have missed that whole 'playoff run' this year. 'also-ran' is a complimentary term when used here. obviously you like the managing and performance of this team as it stands. sorry, i simply do not. Girardi is one of the sharpest baseball minds in the game, and a true leader who bleeds Blue. see Marlins. Florida. 2006... So, you give Lou no credit for getting us to the playoffs, but yet put full blame on him because Ramirez/Lee/Soriano magically forgot how to hit? Right, that makes sense. And yes, return makes perfect sense. Last year we were last place, this year we were in first. Thus, return. And what the hell does "see Marlins. Florida. 2006.." mean What am I supposed to see? A sub-.500 team who finished in 4th place?
  19. That would be really depressing if that happens I want this to happen. I've learned to hate the D'backs. Not only a sweep but, I'd like to see Mister Intensity Bug Eyes Valverde blow a save in the process - wonder how much he'll jump around under such circumstances. Yeah, I know it's probably illogical to hate him and yet love Zambrano as much as I do...but I really want this to happen. Of course, my view is bias however, I don't believe Zambrano is quite as obnoxious. Neither do I, but fans of other teams do...so whatever. Either way; Sweep please.
  20. Works for me; but I'm using firefox. Might that have anything to do with it?
  21. Fourteen million a year? With the way this market is...he might just get it. and by might just; i mean most likely will.
