  1. I honestly dont remember exactly why it was created, but I remember being staunchly opposed to it.
  2. Not that much? Aram has become exponentially better on defense since we first traded for him, and I can't remember very many throws at all that Lee saved from being disastrous over the past couple years.
  3. http://www.lifelounge.com/resources/IMGTHUMB/SUPERBAD_THUMB2.jpg APPROVES "I've got a problem, something like 6 percent of all kids do it..."
  4. I never liked the idea from the start, if for no other reason than it causes lots of confusion as to where to place threads. "Hey, I have this news about the Boston RedSox here, I'll go ahead and post it in the transactions forum. Oh, what's this you tell me? It's in the Rivalries thread? That makes perfect sense since we've played about 3 games against them in the last decade." Yeah; useless forum.
  5. cabrera? Miggy-for 1st base He's not a FA this offseason. yea I know and I was impling we would have to trade for him I guess I am not being very clear/eloquent thei safternoon. hell, send them aram if we could get Miggy. Lini and Z make a GREAT 1&2 starter tandum However, once again, pitching was not our problem. Offense is. I wouldn't be giving up Aram/Lee unless I really really had to.
  6. Colts.
  7. I really hope that the Pats/Colts game turns out crappy. I mean really crappy. Sloppy play on both sides and a genuinely un-exciting finish. Hopefully something will happen to qualify it as the worst game of all time. I really hope so.
  8. They have $$ and they spend it well. So to put it in conclusion: They scout well. They draft well. And they still have Tom Brady. Last time I checked, that's all you need. Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox....must be good to be living in Boston. Oh, forgot Boston College. God, that's depressing. I hate the entire new-england area. eff them. Of course, we had the bulls...but....since then we've had what? The sox and a failed attempt by the bears? ugh. I thought you hate the Bears? He hates the Sox, too. I guess he just means Chicago. I don't hate the Bears, i'm just not a bears fan. Nor do I hate the sox, I'm just not a sox fan, but yeah; i'm just talking about our city in general.
  9. Does that make him any less worthless. Lenny Harris ended up owning us too.
  10. Replace Sammy Sosa, Kerry Wood, and Mark Prior with Augie Ojeda, Mike Remlinger, and Mark Guthrie and we have a deal.
  11. Not really, in his prime he was a real solid player. Problem is, he's a catcher and he relied a lot on speed. And well...yeah.

My team had 38 points. Brees had 30 of them. So barring a christ-like performance from Moss and a total collapse of whoever IMB has going tonight...I got raped. (oh, and note to self: stop starting people if they're on a bye week)
  13. That's the best thing i've heard all day.
  14. What, you mean it might have had something to do that they only had three players that deserved a spot on a major league roster? Which one of Sandberg, Sosa, Gonzalez and Grace did not belong in the majors? Seriously, though, they only had those four. And not all at the same time for some of his worst seasons.
  15. Oh god, If wood or prior went to the reds I would most likely jump out of my dorm window.
  16. That would be cool, but the awards-ceremony thing would be incredibly lame.
  17. What, you mean it might have had something to do that they only had three players that deserved a spot on a major league roster?
  18. WTF, they didnt face the cubs, moron.
  19. He sounded horrible. Someone tell him to slow the hell down.
  20. Well they run into a conundrum when they go to Colorado to be sure. Any way they cut it, they are going to have to sit either Papi (no way), Youkilis, or Lowell. Papi at 1st, keep Lowell at third and lose a good no.2 hitter in Youkilis? Papi at 1st, put Youkilis at third and not only do you have defensive liabilities on the corners but you lose Lowell. Or you keep things the way they are and just lose Papi...which isn't happening. Yeah, yikes. And can you imagine Papi in coors...oh god.

Hahaha, I just saw my match up. I'm going to get destroyed this week. I'll remember to bring the lube on sunday.
  22. I'll probably end up watching some/most of it only because my sox-fan roommate will of course be watching.
  23. :lmao: thats hysterical "World Series tickets on sale today!" "...Just joking...we'll try again later"
