  1. Please dont pinch run for ward, too. He's just an insurance run anyway.
  2. Nice. walk. Now....please dont suck Fontenot...
  3. WTF WAS THAT That was at his friggin ankles
  4. Is it bad that i don't want to see ward walk? I dont trust Riot or Fontenot at all
  5. Lets' not take anything away from Cook, facing a hot team like the Cubs, and his handling them very nicely, he's having a good performance. And Marquis is matching him pitch for pitch. So, something tells me this game will go to the bottom of the ninth. I really don't get it. Since when has "giving up hard hit fly balls that hitters have barely gotten under" been the same as "matching him pitch for pitch" Fine, if oyu want to play technicality, Marquis was matching Cook, OUT FOR OUT. Is that better? What i was trying to say is that marquis wasn't doing anything besides getting lucky. Something tells me this is reserved for the whipping boy. If Z or Hill pitched the same way, no one would be saying anything (of course he's a crap-ton better, but the point is still the same). Luck is only thrown out there when the NSBB anointed whipping boys do well. BS. Marquis is a sinkerball pitcher who was keeping the ball up all day. There were plenty of hard hit balls, many of which just missed going out. I don't care who does that -it's not a good outing.
  6. That's a mighty big if... Pessimist. Soto, Pie, pinch hitter. Yes we can. Yes we can. Obama is pinch hitting?

  10. No, marquis really isn't. He's given up lots of balls..w.ell...like that.
  11. unfortunately he's thrown like 80 or 81 pitches. He could go complete today
  12. I'll take 1 run and 6 hits through six any day Obviously, but it wasnt because he had a good game. He got very lucky.
  13. Don't worry. He has been very lucky. Lots of hard hit fly balls that stayed in.
  14. That would be me. We have a chance to go up 3 if we win today and then we get to go play the Nats while they play the Fish who, while not great, are better than the nats.
  15. STOP GETTING THE BALL UP MARQUIS. Now lets score. Ramirez, Fukudome, Derosa, Soto. This is the best part of our lineup right now (save lee)
  16. And he's getting everythign in the air, which is bad news in this park. Especially for a sinkerballer like marquis.
  17. LOL 61% think the central is the hardest division. LMAO
