    Strikeout Double Strikeout, Braun safe at 1st on Dropped third strike, Cameron to 3rd Sac Fly Infield Single Groundout to short 1-0 brewers, mid 1st Thanks. Gameday was very confused by the dropped 3rd. I think gameday got it right actually. It wasn't a dropped third strike so much as a pitch in the dirt that Braun swung at. Pat made it sound like soto didn't really have a chance at it as it skipped by him.

    Good. Yost's stupidity is good for us. I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to find out, logically, the purpose of pitching Sheets tonight. Or does Yost just sniff glue. That last line made me crack up far more than it should have. Anyway - If you try to understand the decisions of just about any MLB manager out there based on logic and reason, you will be thoroughly confused and disappointed.

    I had a dream this happened. Ricky Weeks charged Carlos Marmol. Marmol and Soto put him in some weird tag team wrestling move and then Derek Lee came over and punched Braun in the face knocking him out. It was pretty awesome. (I dream about the Cubs too much.) hahaha, that's an awesome visual. I hope there are no bench clearing brawls, though. I fear that Zambrano may actually kill a man and wind up in jail.

    And we got shut out today, to boot. What the hell? When do we play the pirates again, jeesh. Even Dusty's Reds. At least we didn't get swept, I guess? Work is hell right now, I don't need the Cubs to start dropping games to boot. replace work with "school" and i agree. C'mon cubs.

    You mean Joe Carter, right? Because I'm pretty sure Chip and Joe Morgan in the same booth would have caused some sort of apocalyptic event had it ever occurred. Oh god that would have been horrendous.

    Uh...They're second in the majors in runs scored. I'd assumed he was joking. Maybe not. This could be. Two hours of sleep over the past 48 hours has severely damaged my sarcasm/joke detectors.
