    There was a 20-or-so minute delay because teh home plate ump was feeling "ill" according to pat and ron. he's on his way to the hospital right now apparently. Some people speculated frostbite.

    Not sure. When the ground ball puts a fielder and the baserunner hitting the same spot at the same time, whose responsibility is it to avoid a collision? The runner is entitled to the basepaths. Weeks was RIGHT ON the basepath when he fielded that ball. It's his fault and he's lucky he didn't get called for interference. I brought that up the other day during a game and apparently if you're making a play on the ball you cannot be called for interference.
