  1. more importantly, where the hell is cedeno?

  3. Kicked me by surprise too. Gentlemen: Set your unproductive work levels on high. Done, and done. Final project that I need to work on? Pffft!
  4. I think we should put it on t-shirts. Not a bad idea, I'd buy one. me too.
  5. No way? All of his hits were singles. I'd say it's entirely possible they were all grounders. I was unaware that they were all singles.
  6. For what it's worth, Santo called that HR by rammy...
  7. Uhm, yes, that's what knee-jerk reactions are all about. That said, I am concerned about his groundball tendency. Last year I really started noticing that he almost always hit the ball on the ground and so for this season I don't think i've seen a single at bat where the ball didn't end up on the ground. I know he's better than what he's showed but someone needs to work with him on his swing, and quick. That said - he was tearing up AAA and there's no way that all of those were grounders he hit down there. So I don't know. Anyway, I'm also in favor of trading him - not because he sucks but because he has nowhere to play on this team and he deserves to at least be on a big league roster, of not starting, somewhere.
  8. Also, is anyone else mad that because of ht way things turned out people aren't really going to remember how awesome that Ramirez HR was by the end of the year? It will just get lost in the shuffle because it ended up not being a game winner.
  9. I agree. Just a question, how close was the game winning run. I'm just curious if Fontenot scored where Soto wouldn't have. There was no play on Fontenot. Hawpe went away from the play to get it, but I'm still not sure Soto scores. There's definitely a play on him at the plate. Yeah, I didn't disagree with PR for soto. I just wish we wouldn't have done it for lee. Save Pie and PR him for Soto. Regardless of the fact that Lou had no idea Ramirez would homer, lee isn't that slow.
  10. i hate myself because I believed you for like 3 seconds. I actually had a tab open with his BR page and looked over. Ok i don't feel so bad. It only took me until I actually put thought to it till I realized how impossible that was.
  11. i hate myself because I believed you for like 3 seconds. Wow. Yeah. Then I was like "wait...that's less than 20 wins a year....not possible."
  12. i hate myself because I believed you for like 3 seconds.
  13. With as bad as lou was tonight - i'll still take his 'overmanaging' faults to dusty's 'big fat idiot' faults any day.
  14. Two years ago, this game would have ended in the 9th with a 7-1 Cubs loss. Exactly.
  15. I can't describe how awesome it is that we got away with a win in this one
  16. Damn. Okay, lets close it out, Marmol. PLEASE. We don't have enough players go go any further.
  17. Pinchrunning tomorrows starting pitcher? what the flipping hell?
