  1. And put into a hearse.
  2. More than halfway there.
  3. Bears will still win. :45 is plenty of time for McCown.
  4. Unbelievable....just some putrid officiating
  5. Put the franchise tag on McCown please.
  6. Cleon the Great Beautiful.
  7. Here's an X's and O's question for you strategy buffs out there.... Should Trestman have the medical staff slip Cutler's corpse into some sweats and prop him up on the sidelines for the 2nd half (a la Weekend at Bernies)? Would the team be more motivated knowing he is with them or would they play harder in his memory?
  8. Goose is now reporting that it may have just been "a killer nut shot."
  9. This feels like the Cardinals game...a game we have no business winning, but the ST and defense will bail the Bears out and win it in the 2nd half.
  10. Brain and lungs. Won't see him back for a long time.
  11. Cutler has passed away.
  12. Not these days. Philly fans are fickle as everyone knows. They are a lost group right now, with now decent pro sports team. Everyone down there likes to call Amaro "Ruin Tomorrow". Yes, these days. They were 8th in the league in attendance at over 3 mil. Gooney is absolutely right.
  13. Three division championships and a pennant? God forbid.
  14. Maybe I'm missing some sort of inside trolling, but the name Trestman doesn't have two a's in it.
  15. The Saints came into the game 4th in points allowed per game, 11th in yards allowed per game, 4th in sacks, 3rd in interceptions. The Bears' offense didn't play great, but it was decent in what is turning out to be a very good Saints' defense. (My apologies for using stats, oldstyle.)
  16. Additionally, there is the whole NBA/NHL arena sharing that would typically prevent same-city teams playing the same day.
  17. The Mt. Rushmore game is much more fun when you go city by city. Just doing the best in the major sports is boring because it's too broad. Cities are great because they have a much more limited pool and take some thinking ..for instance, Mt. Rushmore- Boston Sports edition. Ted Williams Larry Bird Tom Brady Pedro Martinez Feel free to jump in on Boston, ignore this and move on, or throw out a new city.
  18. This is, like, your 8th post in 48 hours mentioning Olt. Why? I don't know. But he did go 2-4 yesterday with a 2B and HR. So Mike Olt, Mike Olt, Mike Olt. But in all seriousness, unlike the rest of the cord prospects, he's not a guy that we entered the season counting on for the future, but if we're to figure things out, he's be some incredibly savory gravy, so watching him become a reverse Bryan LaHair has been frustrating. 4-4
  19. Wait. I thought you were a Rice fan? He doesn't have an Owl ring.
  20. Brett Jackson was 0-3 with 3 more K's...that's 14 in 10 games to go along with 5 hits. In other news, Mike Olt was 0-fer again.
  21. Y Yep, he is.
  22. If I didn't already like Notre Dame, I would because of weirdos like you If its weird to dislike a school and fan base with their heads that far up their own asses I don't want to be straight. This could honestly be said about 10-15 programs, couldn't it?
