  1. So Morel has played in 8 games so far. -Has a hit in 8 of 8 games -Has 2 hits in 4 of 8 games -Has RBI in 6 of 8 games -Has an XBH in 7 of 8 games -Has a HR in 5 of 8 games
  2. I wish you could put money on things like "Sometime between 10am ET - 5pm ET on Friday, May 19, 2023, Cody Bellinger will be placed on the IL"
  3. I find it really interesting that the Bulls have interviewed Brandon Miller, who is expected to go either 2nd or 3rd overall in the draft. I know the combine is in Chicago so maybe its normal that a team with 0 picks in the draft is doing a courtesy interview with a top pick. But that combined with the fact that Portland is rumored to be shopping the pick makes it a little more interesting I guess. Not even sure what the Bulls can offer them outside of like Zach Lavine, Pat Williams and their own protected 1st back. Cant even trade any draft picks until 2027 (unless its on draft night - but draft night 2024 since we don't have any picks this year) so it would have to be a win-now trade for Portland that takes significant assets from the Bulls.
  4. Either we lose pathetically again or we score a week's worth of runs in one game and then go back to normal in Philly
  5. Yeah my only actual good team suffered a humiliating loss in their biggest game in decades. No disrespect to TCU but seeing them lose by almost 60 points to Georgia made Michigan’s loss a bit humiliating. that said at least I have them to look forward to I guess lol
  6. Which I kind of pointed out. We play the Reds, Angels and Giants who are all roughly the same record as us. Actually now that I look at it the only teams with worse records than us at this point are the Nationals (1 GB), Cardinals (2.5 GB), Rockies (1.5 GB), White Sox (4.5 GB), Royals (7 GB) and A's (a lot behind)
  7. My experience as a sports fan lately. OK Team X sucks but Team Y season is starting soon. Then Team Y's season starts and you quickly realize that they too suck, but Team Z's season is just around the corner....
  8. We play exactly 2 games against teams with a worse record than us between now and July 17th and that’s the Cardinals who are suddenly playing much better. we do have 2 series against the Pirates in that span too and they’re now playing much worse so it’s not terrible. But about 70% of the bad teams in our schedule are played between mid August through the rest of the season.
  9. Our starters have not been very good of late.
  10. List of Bulls picks in the 2023 NBA draft:
  11. What a surprise the Cubs are losing already
  12. There are a ton of ads for me all over the place but as long as they don't literally cause me to click out of them in order to browse the site I barely notice them. Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary today.
  13. It’s only year 3 of Jed’s retool, he needs more time
  14. Cardinals are on their way to 7-1 in their last 8 games. With our luck they'll somehow trade for and extend Ohtani at the deadline.
  15. I knew this was going to be a rough stretch but yikes
  16. I guess Hendricks is ready to return.
  17. Todays roster moves, including sending Wesneski down:
  18. Also, for the record, while I'm not a particularly big fan of the Ayton/CP3 rumors, I'd rather do that and shake things up and have a new dynamic instead of running this horsefeathers back yet again.
  19. Sure let’s spend the 3rd consecutive season waiting for a guy to return from a surgery that no professional athlete has ever returned from. Even if Lonzo did return at some point, there’s no way he’s anywhere near the player he was from October 2021-January 2022. horsefeathers this team. Praying we somehow overcome the 1.8% odds and land Wemba lol
  20. Kind of funny how this weekend really reset their expected record. I almost look at it as balancing out the A's series which is where they build a sizable chunk of that pretty RD. They are still unlucky of course, as they have an expected record of 23-17. Over their last 19 games, 10 of them have been decided by 1 or 2 runs. They've gone 1-9 in those 10 games. If they went 5-5 instead of 1-9, they'd be............23-17.
  21. Do I get upset at you like your board got upset with Minnesota for posting after a win? 🤪
