Brilliant work..I kinda had a feeling those were real quotes because a lot sounded familiar, but it was still a nice little twist. -
...and now Dallas scores again with :39.4 left to take a 5-4 lead. What a heartbreaking loss. From up 3-1 with 5 minutes left to losing 5-4 Time for Trent to flip out again, they deserve it.

Damn, a lot of action in the third. 2 goals in a minute span ties the game at 3 for Dallas, then the Blackhawks, with the extra skater out there in anticipation of a delayed penalty push one across. Now Havlat looks like hes hurt

worst purchase ever Well, we can agree to disagree. Sorry got to go, UPS just delivered my Mark Belhorn Cubs Jersey. That's still better then Macias based on Bellhorn's 2002 season alone. When you had his 2003 game winning HR against the Cardinals, which clearly was the difference between us getting in the playoffs or not, then its a worthy addition.

The best thing I've read about Pierre was that he is one leg injury away from being useless. Thank about it, who wants a hobbled leadoff man with a poor OBP related to his average who can't throw and can't steal bases? And knowing the Cubs, it will be only a matter of time before he receives said injury if he stays. That said, I don't think he wants to be here. -

No but you have to look at the intangibles. I have heard that he is the "leader" of the defense, over Urlacher, over everyone. As such, he is very useful to have a veteran out there with a mostly youthful secondary. I have heard stories where he is constantly putting the SS (Harris or Manning) in the correct position in the Cover 2. He is a smart smart player and even if he isn't playing Pro Bowl caliber, the loss has a ripple effect on the rest of the D -
I woke up happy today. Why? Because its Cardinal Elimination Day! I am trying to stay positive here. At the end of the night, it could be the first day since the Red Sox won the world series that all of my hated teams are not in the playoffs
