    Because he's a good pitcher? Again, 6.61 ERA away from spacious Dodger stadium this year. It's also not the best night for hitting like last night. The park probably plays a lot like Dodger stadium at night right about now.

    I know we aren't hitting the ball as well as in April, but its funny to see the Cubs leading the league in runs scored at the end of May and still hear fans say "ballgame" every time the Cubs don't score in the first few innings and the opposition takes a 1-0 lead.

    Surprised that no one posted the lineup. I heard it on ESPN 1000 on the way home Soriano, LF Theriot, SS Lee, 1B Ramirez, 3B Fukudome, RF Soto, C DeRosa, 2B Johnson, CF Zambrano, P I honestly wish Zambrano and Johnson switched.

    Wow thats a shock. Cubs fans usually don't stuff the boxes well (Vance excluded), so its surprising to see how the Cubs are doing at so many positions.

    This is why Pie struggling like mad is more frustrating. I know Geo turned out well, but when will our "can't miss" position prospects pan out. Bruce was the number 1 prospect in baseball. Pie was somewhere in the 40's

    Honestly, I'm not saying that this will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Reds, despite Dusty Baker, become our greatest threat in the division this year.

    I think like half the hits Kerry has given up this year have been BS. Probably happens when you are serving up 96 MPH fastballs and people get lucky wood on them.

    HAHAHAHAHA I can't decide it Marmol decided pitching with the bases empty was too easy, or if Marmol didn't feel good about Kerry Wood pitching to the heart of the Dodgers order so he took care of them himself.

    Edmonds 3-24 as a Cub (.125). Based on Lou's comments today, I honestly think he's gone after this series.

    It's just a tough night. The Cubs are hitting the ball really well tonight, its just horrible conditions for hitting pretty much anything in the air.
