  1. Wow Orton is legit.
  2. Thought this was interesting:
  3. This is reminding me of the Lions game in Detroit last year, when we were so banged up, that we're just not going to have much of a chance.
  4. I don't know how badly Vasher is hurt, but his lingering injuries and inability to play when expected to over the past 2 years really ticks me off.
  5. I feel sorry for the 10 of them who paid attention to the team all year long. The rest of them - and by that I mean everyone who started watching and pulling for the team in late September/early October - I don't feel the least bit bad for. One of my friends - who is a Cubs fan first - has been following the Rays for quite a few years now and is talking about quitting baseball if the Rays lose. I'm sure he's not serious, but man he's having a rough October in baseball. I have a friend who has lived in TB his whole life that is the same way. He went through a tough time when the Cubs lost, and he considers the Rays his number 1 team. Haven't talked to him yet since this collapse begun.
  6. Yep. Wow the NBA and NHL are so similar
  7. We're certainly allowed to pick sides. If I wanted to see the same thing I saw last year, I'd pick the Red Sox to come back from 3-1 again. The Red Sox are like cockroaches, they just won't die
  8. As someone who was emotionally invested in both, does this feel like 2003 to you as much as it does to me?
  9. Garza vs. Lester I'd feel confident with Garza going
  10. Boston sucks all the fun out of sports.
  11. It's so amazing to see a team thats one loss from elimination look much more confident than the team thats one win away from the World Series. I don't know how the Red Sox broke that psychological burden and won World Series, but it might be 50 years before the Cubs can do that.
  12. And to be fair, it's five games. Might as well be 6 those stupid losers.
  13. It's amazing how much momentum can play in a baseball playoff series. Especially with an inexperienced team.
  14. Screw the Hawks. 1 win in 6 games. Screw Chicago sports. Always horrible never good. Yes I'm drunk
  15. i don't know that i'd burn his redshirt. maybe they'll have to if threet is seriously hurt, but they've played half the season and they're very unlikely to make a bowl - the game in columbus is almost an auto-loss so if they lose tonight, they'd have to win at purdont, minnesota and win at home against moo and northwestern. it's just not worth it. Agreed. But then again, they have two four star recruits coming in next year that can run the spread. How much will they need him.
  16. I doubt it. I can't see Michigan winning a rivalry game. This is like when the Bulls held their firesale and all the teams the Bulls had been whipping on for years licked their chops and beat the crap out of us. You outgained Notre Dame by over 100 yards offensively, Penn State sleepwalked through the first 27 minutes of today's game...if your rivals are licking their chops, they must not be very hungry. Well ND probably isn't as good as Michigan State (no offense), and Penn State has more aspirations that just finally beating Michigan (like their showdown vs. Ohio State next week). Michigan State-Michigan is the White Sox-Cubs of the Big Ten. They won't blow an opportunity to embarrass Michigan
  17. AHHH I should have done somethin else besides get invested into this game. Penn State TD, its 26-17 PSU now. What a collapse. Michigan's 3rd string QB is coming in.
  18. I doubt it. I can't see Michigan winning a rivalry game. This is like when the Bulls held their firesale and all the teams the Bulls had been whipping on for years licked their chops and beat the crap out of us.
  19. And its turning out to be a really really bad decision hahaha Penn State safety and they take the lead.
  20. Haha Michigan has probably their best offensive half of the season, and then they bench the QB for a worse one.
  21. And its a tie game
  22. Dammit...Michigan managed to get me sucked into this game. Now every first down by PSU or missed tackle by Michigan is breaking my heart. I told myself not to get into this game because I've had enough tramatic sports moments in the past 2 weeks.
  23. And Michigan lets PSU back into it with some boneheaded plays. Being down 17-7 at half vs. 17-14 at half is a huge difference, especially with PSU getting the ball to start the second half. I stand by my "2 touchdowns" statement.
  24. I'll admit, Michigan is getting pretty much all the little breaks. From the moment the ball is in the WR's hands, it say 95% of the time he gets the first down.
  25. Threet has to have the least accurate arm of any QB I've ever seen. The only positive of this is that when he misses, he misses so far off that usually its out of the reach of the DBs as well.
