4/15 - Bulls (41-40) vs. Toronto (32-49) - 7 pm, CSN

That. Was. Awesome. Bulls clinch at least the 7 seed and pull ahead of the Sixers for the 6th seed. Just need to win vs. Toronto at home and hope Philly loses to either Boston or Cleveland, and then we are playing the potentially Turk-less Magic who are sliding into the end of the season. Still don't think we'll beat them in a series as Dwight Howard will murder us, bring us back to life, and then murder us again. -
Fun game. I don't blame you Cyno for jinxing it. I blame it on the guy two rows behind me that was trying to prove that saying 'no hitter' doesn't jinx anything, so right before the hit he was saying "NO HITTTTTTER" really loud. It works everytime, that jerk.

whoever called that ramirez had a back injury last night nailed it. Really crappy lineup for opening day thats for sure

I'm pissed off about Gregg's performance, and I will easily admit he's not as talented as some of our other bullpen arms...but to call him the second worst reliever on the team after 5 appearances is a little extreme.

Baseball is finally back at Wrigley!!! .....hopefully. The Trib is speculating that baseball is unlikely tomorrow and a decision will be made early tomorrow morning. If this game gets postponed it will be played on Tuesday. But lets cross our fingers and hope we get baseball in tomorrow! Oh and....Ellis Burks homers to right field

Yup, we lose the tie breaker to Philly. Tomorrow's game against Detroit is the biggest regular season game for the Bulls since the season ending game in NJ two years ago that dropped us from the 2 seed to the 5 seed. -
Well even if its a minor injury, we know he probably won't play tomorrow/Tuesday (whenever the home opener is played) because of the wet conditions out there. We'll see just how long he is out though. I am guessing Lou will be as cautious as possible with him as he is confident we can keep it going mostly without him.

If Gregg blew a 4 run lead with 2 outs in the 9th and no one on base, I wouldn't expect him to show his face at Wrigley tomorrow.

Is it like a rule that Gregg has to give up a run every time he pitches? I was just about to say he looked good this inning too .

Seriously...great inning by Marshall. Not because he got results, but because he attacked the hitters and threw strikes early in the count. Didn't hurt that he was locating his breaking pitches, but he threw a strike to each batter on the first pitch in that inning. It seemed like the Brewers strategy after last night was to be patient and hope the Cubs pen self destructed with wild control, and Marshall didn't let that happen.

I'd kill myself...because Vizcaino absolutely can not face Fielder. It would be the stupidest thing Lou has done in his 2+ seasons as manager.

That's real solid. Shows you how damn good our pen was last year after the 6th inning, but especially the 8th and 9th innings.

The Johnson catch video should be up on MLB.com already. I just watched the video on the MLB.com app on my iPhone.

There have been better home run robs...but unlike a lot of supposeded robbings of HRs, this one was clearly over the fence and brought back. Then you also have to consider the situation, the fact that it was going to be a grand slam, and the fact that it would have tied the game. It was a pretty fantastic catch.

Dude our hip bump in the outfield after wins is classless. Yeah but so is their celebrating happily after coming from behind to win in the 9th inning on their Opening Day.

Can't believe Demp is still in...but I guess the pen needs a rest and its the bottom of the order.
