It's allowed it's just kind of random. It's a 4 year old article that gives no news or insight that hasn't already been discussed ad nauseum for years on NSBB. I do wish there was a "random baseball thoughts/random cubs thoughts" thread where you could post little things like this and not have to start a new topic. I come across things occasionally where I want to share with the board, but it doesn't seem to be big enough for a new thread to be started, so I end up not posting it. -
Ouch, I was only one in a crowd and no way the worst. I don't let myself do that on here anymore.

I think the USA would have to seriously overlook their QF opponent to not at least make it to the semi's. And if that's the case, they are looking good for a medal. If they lose in the semi's, they'll play for the bronze, and if they win they goto the finals. What a big win this was.

I guess I can excuse his red wings affiliation for the rest of the olympics. Go rafalski! If the blackhawks had Ryan miller the only question would be how many games it would take the hawks to complete their cup run.

NBC wasn't shy about it. They have ice dancing to show, and women watch the olympics more than men. That's the reasoning. yeah that's what I meant by different demographics. It's so funny how girls are so into it. My gf comes home and watches it and starts talking to me about it all proud of herself for being into a sport and then gets mad when i tell her I don't give a crap.

I just discovered that comcast apparently doesn't carry msnbc HD in my area. I not used to watching hockey in sd. I forgot how hard it can be to follow. I think people who watch hockey in HD watch it differently because they can see more of the ice. I know the rest of the Olympic events draw different demographics than hockey would but USA vs. Canada is not on the main network?
