    Win or lose, the Hawks really did play this one like it was game 7, especially in the 3rd period. They are really laying their bodies on the line right now.

    The refs are really trying to even up the calls from the 2nd period holy hell. We had literally 5 seconds of time at full strength.

    Or he's just a top prospect that actually panned out hitting in a lineup with Albert Pujols and Matt Holliday in it. Edit: But yes because he's a Cardinal and McGwire is the hitting coach, I'd have to agree :)

    20 more minutes until round 2. I think the Hawks need to score 1 in the third, because I am almost 100% sure that Nashville will score in the 3rd. That's just been how this series has gone. In fact, I'm willing to bet they score within the first 4 minutes of the period.

    See plays like that by Hossa are why people who look at a box score and see he only has 1 goal in this series and say he's a choker should shut up.

    Yeah and if they kill this the momentum goes to them. Meh, after this there will be 2 minutes until intermission. If we can hold them off until the end of the 2nd, the intermission should kill most of that momentum.
