Assuming the Cubs offense doesn't score 3 runs today and we do lose, I don't even think the 2006 Cubs started out any homestands 1-5. Ok they probably did, but still.

It's weird that Chelsea Dagger is recognized so well with the Blackhawks, considering every team has a song they play after goals. Just strange that this one stands out so well with the Hawks. Funny thing is, the Caps sometimes play Chelsea Dagger after goals too. Well, not any more. I missed the first penalty, but the second one definitely looked like a dive. I actually think I feel better about Detroit's chances after watching a lot of game 1. It was a decent performance considering they just finished a 7 game series 2 days before.

I was reading somewhere that some teams were hoping if they build up their team strong enough he could be had for the MLE, although I personally don't believe that to be true.

My fantasy team thanks the Chicago Cubs for their offering to help Kelly Johnson continue to be awesome.

So Rose is worse at what the Celtics need, but he'd make the Celtics better? Yeah because Rose is damn good scorer which would offset not having the ability Rondo has.

See I think it was a poor argument to begin with. I think Rondo would make the Bulls terrible, but only because if you take Rose off the Bulls, who is scoring for you? Rondo is a decent scorer but he's not the type of scorer Rose is. Who is Rondo going to pass to? How many times did Rose kick it out to wide open teammates only to see them brick it? Too many. Now, if you swapped Rondo for Rose on the Celtics, I am not sure how much better they would be. I think Rose would make them slightly better, but what makes Rondo work well is he distributes the ball well and he plays good defense, which I think the Celtics need more than another scorer.
